Betrayal

*Alicias POV*
I gasped for breath when I reached the end of the dock. It felt like I has my heart ripped from my body.
The tears blurred my vision how could he, how could he do this to me after everything we had been through.
As I replayed the moment I had walked into a room and had found Saraphina and Seb in a deep conversation. I had left before he even had the chance to explain himself.

I couldn't get the tears to stop, he had betrayed me, even just by talking to her.
I wanted to scream but nothing came out. I couldn't even begin to understand why he would even be in the same room as her even more so alone with her.

I had to run my ancient magic was coursing through my veins.
It was always there but it had always seeped out when I was overwhelmed.

I sat down and stared into the water almost wishing to throw myself in and never resurface.
The pain I was feeling was inmeasurable.

I heard footsteps beind me and I had hoped it was Seb here to explain himself to me as to why he was alone with the witch I hated the most.
It was Ominis my face flushed knowing he probably heard the commotion I made getting out of the party.

He sat down next to me and pulled me into his arms.
We never really had to speak when it came to sullen moments like these.
He also knew that in time I would open up to him about what happened.
My tears slowly stopped as the sound of his heartbeat calmed me down slowly.

"Ominis Seb was alone with Saraphina, I don't know why but I had to leave, you know my magic gets out of control when I get emotional I was afraid of what I might have done if I had stayed."

He looked at me and wiped the remaining tears from my eyes before he began to talk.

" I can only hope it was for a good reason Seb can be an idiot but not so much that he would risk losing you. There must be a reason as to why he would talk to her and I will strangle it out of him if I must."

"Ominis I am just so confused, why did he keep this a secret from us he promised there would no longer be any secrets between any of us. I can't help but feel that maybe this is my fault.
I know he wants more from me and maybe he was tired of waiting for me to allow him to take me in all ways."
I blushed knowing very well that Ominis knew what I had meant.
I had never expected to divulge this personal aspect of Seb's and my relationship to anyone.
A slight blush erupted on Ominises face as well I have no doubt he was a little shocked at my confession.
"Seb would never do that with anyone else but you, he has never once gave interest to any other girl besides you.
I'm sure this is a huge misunderstanding, I know his love for you is vast he would never jepordise losing you when he almost lost you last year after he tried to guilt you into using ancient magic to heal Anne. Lets get inside as much as I enjoy being out here it is getting cold. How about we make our way to the kitchens to see if Winny has some hot chocolate to spare?"
A small smile came across my face, Ominis knew me so well, he knew what joy it brought me to visit Winny.
Ominis pulled me up and I stumbled into him. He caught me with ease, in this moment I was glad he could not see me as I had blushed as our faces had ended up only inches apart.
"That sounds like a wonderful idea Ominis hot chocolate sounds lovely."
