-I don't plan on incorperating a Poppy POV throughout this book, but I figured I could at least do one.
*Poppys POV*I was bubbling with excitement, it had been too long since we had a girls night.
This year seemed to be passing by so increadibly fast we only had one more year together before we went our seperate ways. I smiled wondering if Ominis and I would still be together when school ended for all of us. I blushed knowing I would always want that.
Underneath the cold layers he had wrapped around him was a good man underneath it all, he had respected me and was so kind doing the small things to show he cared. Even with the without the Felix potion I was the luckiest witch in the world.
As I headed towards the prefect bathroom I saw Ominis as I was about to go say hi I saw Sebastian walk out from behind the clock display case on the wall.
They were in deep discussion maybe Ominis was trying to talk some sense into Sebastian and Alicia and Sebastian could get back together.
As much as Alicia tried to hide it I could tell she was tortured by seeing Sebastian and Saraphina together.
I decided to forgo the hello and made my way into the prefects bathroom.
Natsai and Ali were already both submerged in the bath with their hair piled effortlessly in top of their hands.
My mouse brown hair always had a mind of it's own and the more I tried to tame it the crazier it got.
Thats why I had always kept it short it was much easier to manage.
Twisted broom sisters played from the record player set up against the wall furthest from the bath.
"Get in the water Poppy it's the perfect tempature," as she blew bubbles my way. I giggled and stripped down into my clothes.
"You will never guess who I saw talking before I came in here." "Well if we can never guess than just tell us," Natsai replied. Ali's eyes left the window and landed on mine. "Don't keep us on suspense Poppy tell us."
"Sebastian and Ominis I think they may have mended their friendship maybe I can ask Ominis to convince him that Saraphina is not the one for him."
Ali's face turned downwards slowly, "please don't it will just like I asked you to do it for me, you already know he called me pathetic for asking for another chance. He would just find this as a nousance. He chose Saraphina and at this point I don't know if I would even want him back."
Natsai looked between us both "lets leave this conversation where it's at. I have some exciting news to share with both of you. Garreth had asked me out on a date, I still have not given him an answer. We know my plans are to return to Uganda to be an Auror and to fight the corruption in my home country. I don't know how he would fit into these plans. I don't think he would want to leave his family behind to help me fight to rid Uganda of the vileness that has seeped into its core."
"It's only a date Natsai, you don't have to get married just quite yet, don't overthink it I think you would have a fun time going on a date with him I only sujest to not try any of the potions he is working on." We all laughed we had all seen the failures of his potions. Which included more than just turning blue.
"Ali have you thought about what you wanted to do after you get out of school? You have never really joined in on the conversations prior to this one."
Ali remained silent for a little bit "Honestly I have no clue before I had planned on maybe becoming a Professor or a researcher. While Seb went through his Auror training, but now that it's no longer an option I am a little lost, but we do have one more year to figure this all out."
I nodded in agreement.
"Natsai I heard you signed up for the dueling tournament are you nervous?
I couldn't even begin to convince myself to sign up."
"Me nervous no way, fighting is in my blood I can't wait to show the other school what kind of power Hogwarts has to throw at them."
"Thats the spirit Natsai you will deff bring them stiff competetion."
"Why haven't you signed up Ali? Natsai asked,
"The professors are worried about my ancient magic since we still don't know too much about it they are worried I could end up seriously hurting someone. You two have had to have heard that my patronus is not like anyone elses. They are worried that even if I cast a legal dueling spell it might end up doing more damage than expected.
It would tarnish the schools reputation if one of it's students caused great harm to another schools student,"
