"Ominis POV*
I was trying to study but my mind kept wandering back to the conversation between Seb, Alicia and I.
I was frankly worried for Sebastians life I was worried about him falling into it too deep. I was also worried that the allure of the upperclass living would suck him in.
All the families pretended to have the perfect lives.
When behind doors they commit horrors that no regular families would even think of doing.
I worried for Alicia she was constantly sacrificing her wants and her needs for others.
I knew that even though she was trying to see the bigger picture, I knew she was uncertain about this plan.
Even thought she tried to hide the tremor in her voice I could hear it.
If Sebastian had not chosen to shun us I would have demanded him too.
No one else can know of our schemes, I knew Alicia would need someone to be there I didn't want her to face this alone."What has you in such deep of thought" Poppys voice was so soft it was one of the many things I liked about her. Loud voices have always grated on my ears. Sometimes I would cast a spell to keep me from hearing anything around me it helped keep the headaches at bay.
I didn't want to lie to her but I knew I couldn't bring her into this. Poppy could fight just like the rest of us and she is resoursefull. However the less people knew the better were our odds.
"Nothing much really I was thinking of ideas on what to write on my astronomy essay."
"Why does she even make us write essays how is one to come up with a 5 page essay on just one constilation. I wanted to see if you wanted to walk to dinner with me?"
I smiled even thought we have been dating for a few months she still gets so shy when she invites me anywhere. I found it most endearing, she was the complete opposite of what my family is.
I stood up and grabbed her hand, "lets get going I am rather hungry." Poppy laughed snd tugged me towards the great hall.*Sebastians POV*
I was so nervous about tonight,
I knew it was all fake but that doesn't mean I was wanting to do it.
But the violent attacks on muggleborns were increasing.
There really was no more time to waste.
We needed these perpertraters to be held to justice for what they have done.
I paced around the slytherin commen room, before sitting in a chair by the fireplace, time felt like it was at a stand still.
The small fire reflected in the windows catching the silvery scales of the fish swimming by.
Saraphina walked out of the girls side of the dorm.
Even I couldn't deny that she was beautiful. She had long black hair that shined blue in the light. Her pale complection only made her hair stand out even more. Her eyes were the bluest of blue, you could almost lose yourself in them if you looked too long.
She was tall and had devistatingly dangerous curves in all of the right places.
She had been dating Amus Malfoy since the first year until the broke up sometime last year.
Every guy in this castle with a pair of eyes wanted her.
She was beautiful and smart and came from a well renouned and highly respected and feared family.
Your life would be greatly uplifted if you became a part of their family.
In all honesty if Alicia had not crossed my path I would have deffinately pursued Saraphina but seeing how ugly she had been to Alicia whatever interest I had in her faded.
" Sebastian what are you doing all cooped up and alone in here? Saraphina purred out she smiled with a raised eyebrow letting me know she was full aware that I had been checking her out. She came over and sat on my lap. I could keep you company Seb if you would like me too," she slowly traced a finger down my chest.
I pulled her hand away, "you know I have a girlfriend please get off of me, I don't want to lose my good opinion of you Saraphina."
I needed her to chase me, to do anything in order to make me hers at least in her head.
I got up and walked out I was dreading what was to come but I couldn't put it off any longer.
In order to do what was needed of me I had to do this.
I had more than hoped that Alicia would have told me to stay out of this, she however has always supported me no matter what.
Dinner was almost over I knew I needed to head down to the common yard. This had to be perfect I couldn't ruin this chance.
