"Well, because your date is cancelled. And yes, because I say so." I gave her my sweetest smile. "I'm here to save you, my lady. Be my date?" Tanong ko at bahagyang yumuko.
Inangat ko bahagya ang ulo ko para silipin siya nang hindi niya ako sinasagot.
Tumaas naman ang isang kilay niya. "Saan mo naman ako dadalhin?"
I sighed and straightened up straight. Instead of responding, she asked me a question. Base sa tono niya, alam kong nag-e-expect siya ngayon lalo na nag-enjoy siya sa lakad namin and I'm proud of myself. Sa kaniya mismo nanggaling na she didn't expect she'd appreciate that kind of place.
Plus point, Rivianna.
"Ayieeeh." Tuwang-tuwa na tukso ko sa kaniya. "Nag e-expect ka ba sa next date natin?"
"Yeah, that was fun." She shrugged and walked away to grab her purse from her bed.
I didn't anticipate that she would be so honest. One thing I discovered about her is that she does not sugarcoat her words. She is a straightforward woman.
Sumandal ako sa wall malapit sa sliding door at tinitigan siya mula ulo hanggang paa.
She truly embodies a goddess.
"Ibig bang sabihin niyan, sa'kin ka sasama?" Pumihit siya paharap sa'kin at tinignan ako na para bang nag-iisip siya.
"If you say that's going to be fun, then yes." Her response made me happy.
"Of course it'll be. I'm with you. But—" Hinagod ko siya ng tingin. "You need to change your outfit, Missy." Lumapit ako sa kaniya at hinawakan ko sa magkabilang balikat niya. I guided her to her closet. "Your elegant dress is not suited to where we are going. Just wear comfortable clothes." Saad ko at iniwan siya para makapagpalit.
Habang naghihintay, pabagsak na humiga ako sa kama. I'm really getting myself in trouble. Every day, I've found that I'm becoming more at ease with her. Am I doing right? Well, I don't care anyway. Hindi ko rin naman mapigilan ang sarili ko na hindi pumunta dito.
"Done." Mula sa kisame napunta ang tingin ko sa kaniya nang marinig ang tinig niya.
She's wearing a plain orange shirt and white shorts which show her flawless skin. She even tied her hair in a messy bun na kanina ay nakalugay lang ito.
"Wala na bang hindi babagay sayo na kulay?" Tanong ko tsaka tumayo sa pagkakahiga and walked towards her. "You look good in everything." I stepped in front of her and grinned. "Is that why you look good on me?"
She shook her head before she walked away. Napakagat naman ako sa lower lip ko dahil hindi nakaligtas ang pasimpleng ngiti niya sa mata ko.
I cleared my throat at dire-diretsong naglakad papunta sa balcony. "Kunwari hindi ko na lang napansin na may kinilig." Saad ko ng medyo nalagpasan ko siya.
Nang nasalabas na ako, sinara ko ang sliding door at bago ko pa tuluyan maisara, kumindat ako sa kaniya. "See yah."
Magkikita na lang kami sa labas dahil hindi naman ako pwede dumaan sa proper way at baka hindi na ako makalabas ng buhay. It looks like her parents are strict. I bet mas matalas ang bibig nila kay Vérene.
