Nilagyan ko pa ng smiley face para mapapangiti din siya pag nabasa 'to, at isa pa para cute. Ididikit ko na sana ang sticky note sa screen ng laptop niya nang may mapagtanto ako.

Bakit ang corny ko?

Tinitigan ko ang sticky note na ididikit ko na sana. Palitan ko ba? Ang cringe masyado. I put the sticky note in the front of my face and looked at it clearly. I frowned at my forehead as I thought of what I should do.

Nah, it's fine. Siya lang naman makakakita.

I put it on her laptop and then went outside to her balcony. But before I shut the sliding door, I took a quick glimpse and muttered.

"Sleep well, Vérene."

I smiled before I slowly closed her sliding glass door. Pagkasakay ko sa kotse ko lumingon ako sa passenger seat to check the container. My clothes are already arranged inside of it. Not bad, it looks more decent than how it was. Verene had already fixed it while we were on our way to her house. Oh well, magugulo ko lang din naman 'yan pag may hinanap akong damit. I shrugged my shoulders and started to drive the car. I need to go home now, for sure Mom is mad at me again. Hindi pa nga ako bayad sa kaniya sa late kong uwi nung nakaraan.

Pagka-park ko ng kotse sa garahe ay wala akong nakitang ibang sasakyan. So, are they not here again? How lucky am I? I'm saved once again from the wrath of my mom. Dire-diretso lang ako pagpasok ng bahay nang biglang may lumipad na damit sa mukha ko.

"Mom, do you need another one?"

Inalis ko ang damit sa mukha ko at tinignan ito. Damit ko 'to ah? Napalingon ako sa harap at nakita ko si Raver na inaabutan pa ng isang damit si Mom.

"I don't like this, it is too thin. Yung jeans akin na." Turo ni Mom sa jeans ko na nasa sahig.

Mukhang need ko sumingit ah. "Hi guys? You playin' something? Ba't may pa gani-"

I'm still not done talking when Mom suddenly throws the jeans in my face. It's a relief that I saw it quickly and had enough time to dodge it.

"Mom! Time freeze!" I formed a big T using my hands in front of me. "This is not funny at all."

"Twin, let me answer your question earlier." Rover answered. Nasa sofa pala siya at tahimik na humihigop ng kape niya. "Mom is not playing. She's dead serious right now."

Lalong hindi nakakatulong 'tong si Rover. When I returned my gaze to my mother, her demeanor was both calm and fierce. She's clutching another piece of my clothing and getting ready to throw away another one.

"Mama!" I called out.

"Your Mama is not here." My Mom gave me a lopsided smile. "As you can see, there are no cars in the garage."

Napakunot ang noo ko sa narinig. "Paano niya na-drive lahat ng sasakyan do'n?"

"Nag-away sila ni Mom, ayon yung parusa sa kaniya." Sagot ni Raver. "Don't ask what the reason of their fight."

"Mama wants another daughter because of you." I'm not sure if she wants triplets again." Rover responded to my question.

"Lakas manghingi ni Mama, hindi naman siya yung magdadala." Naiiling kong saad habang naka ngisi.
