Chapter 12

Jenice Claire's POV

"Maraming salamat po maam, mag-iingat po kayo, Godbless!", I heard him shouting as i was walking away from the restaurant, staring at him a few times made me to confirm that yes, it was him, ang sakristang nakita ko sa church yesterday, but who cares?

Kahit nakita ko na siya for the second time around, my emotions already disappeared, it felt blank, no happiness, no sadness, no kilig. It was just plain and nothing else

Pumunta lang naman ako sa karinderya just to eat, hindi yung nakikipag-flirt sa sakristang hindi ko naman alam na nag-wowork dun, another point is, binigay ko na sa kanya ang buong 500 pesos just to show you na marami pala akong pera, but I'm not bragging it anyways

As i looked on my phone, sa group chat namin, Fretche messaged me:

"Jenice girl, how are you? Nakakain ka ba sa karinderya?" , the message was from 20 minutes ago

Everything that i felt a while ago suddenly disappeared nung kumain ako, wala na lahat, I'm in a good mood right now lalo na when i gave that guy a 500 pesos making him happy, well, i just helped someone financially and that's good

I replied to her after a few minutes, i was thinking on how to reply knowing what had happened

"I'm okay, nakakain na ako", i replied to her straight to the point without adding further information kung ano ba talaga ang nangyari, wala naman talagang nangyari diba? Pumunta ako sa karinderya at kumain, that's all thank you

After all the fuzz that is happening today ay uuwi na ako, let's call it a day! 10:30 na ng umaga and since wala naman si Fretche and Jade dahil busy, i decided to go home and just chill

A few minutes have passed, it's 11 o'clock nang makarating ako sa bahay, i opened the gate of our mansion and went inside, as i opened the door, wala nang tao dito except our yaya Esterlina, Ester and Lina in one name, nasa 40s na siya and was our yaya for 3 years, close na rin kami ni yaya, she became my 2nd mother, we talk about life and it's challenges, the things i hate about mom and Jeff, girl talk and anything, even my problems

Yaya Esterlina also has a son, he is a sakristan by the way, and his name was

Mateo

Pumasok na siya sa seminaryo as yaya Esterlina works as a full time helper dito sa bahay namin, she's a beautiful and caring woman

"Maam Jenice, saan po kayo galing?", my head motioned at the tone of her voice, Esterlina asked me as i opened the door inside our house

"Kumain lang ako sa labas, yaya", i replied to her question while looking at her, since Fretche and Jade are busy today, dito nalang ako sa bahay, i'll stay in my room all day long and just do nothing but use my phone and social media, wala naman akong gagawin, yaya Esterlina has it all covered

Gosh!

It's so boring!!!

Nandito ako ngayon sa kwarto ko, nakahiga nalang buong araw here in this air conditioned room, i opened my phone and received a message from Jade, actually, both of them are online

"Jenice girl, sure ka ba na kumain ka lang sa karinderya? Wala ka bang chika dyan?"  Jade asked

It's so boring naman, good thing nag message sakin si Jade, now, i can make use of the time. Ano bang pwede kong i-chika? Fine, ito nalang. I casually typed on my phone and message them:

"Well, yung sakristang nakita ko sa church kahapon, nag-wowork pala siya sa karinderya"

I messaged to them emotionless as if i am just informing them, then suddenly my eyebrows raised when Jade and Fretche reacted Haha on my message, natawa talaga sila ha and it made me realized that i did a very bad decision in life

"OMG! Nagkita kayo ulit girl? Hala parang destined talaga kayo para sa isa't-isa" binanatan ako ni Fretche, crap! Ano na ang gagawin ko? Ako na naman ang magiging main topic sa group chat na ito, i rolled my eyes and after that Jade sent a message

"Tinanong mo ba siya girl kung anong pangalan niya?" Jade asked me as i angry reacted Fretche's message, hindi na kayo nakakatuwa, stop it!

"Wala", i replied to Jade and both of them sad reacted on my message, why? Do you think na magkakatuluyan ako with that guy? Hell no! Konti nalang, sasabog na naman ako sa galit

"Nag-kiss ka ba sa kanya bago ka umalis?"

Fretche asked me making me to think, i angry reacted it while Jade haha reacted it, this is the worst question i ever received, why would i randomly kiss someone i just met? You know i'm not that kind of girl who would lower her standards and just give herself to boys who want to taste it

I'm not the kind of girl who would only settle for less and be blind to love, hindi rin ako mahilig sa disco and parties, i have no vices; i don't drink, smoke and anything else

I have high respect sa body ko, so i would never ever kiss someone, hindi rin ako papayag na bastusin lang sa mga baboy na mga lalaki, Gosh! My Dignity!

As soon as i saw the message, i replied as fast as i can with the most beautiful answer yet

"I'm not that kind of girl, Fretche, you know me, why would i lower my standards to someone i just met?"

I replied to her as if slapping her straight to her face, gosh! this girl is sobrang religious, but what the heck, I can't see this when she talks

"Fretche girl, you're religious pero para kang demonyo kapag nagsasalita" , i added and both of them keep on Haha reacting my message, damn! 2 vs 1 , i'm going to lose this fight

"Biro lang naman girl, sorry na" she apologized to me but still i angry reacted her message, and this stupid Jade he keeps on haha reacting our messages

"What my point is, if God made you to see each other, what would be the reason?" here we go again with the Gods I don't believe in, whatever! Wala akong pake, hindi ako naniniwala, I'm an atheist remember?

"I don't know, I don't even care so shut up!" I replied,releasing my anger as Jade finally messaged:

"Baka pinagtagpo kayo kase you were meant for each other ayieeeeee" -Jade

"Baka nga ayieeeeee, love story na yan gorabells!"  -Fretche

Okay this is enough!

"SHUT THE F*** UP FRETCHE AND JADE!"

I messaged them with all the anger i felt, sobrang bully talaga nila
