Jenice Claire's POV

It’s been exactly a week when Pedro ghosted me for good, I know he can read my text, hindi siya sumasagot sa mga tawag ko and hindi siya nagrereply sa mga texts ko.

So this is the day I am waiting for, I am confident of the fact na babalik siya dito and puntahan ako sa bahay namin, it’s just that simple

Mag-apologize siya and we’re good, but sometimes parang nagtatampo na ako sa kanya dahil sa ginawa niyang pag-alis sakin

I’m still in the recovery process, trying to heal myself from his past mistakes, and I hope that I won’t lose my temper, aside from apologizing, he has to explain kung bakit niya ginawa yon

I am saved by daddy Jeff from being depressed, I stood up and dress myself nicely, minahal ko ang aking sarili

This is gonna be damn useful if he would choose to leave, if he leaves, then I might as well love myself first, napakarami na ang ibinigay ko

I felt like I did everything just to keep our love alive

It is morning today nang nakahilata pa rin ako sa room, I didn’t mind actually, I didn’t care since I am waiting for Pedro to come

The doorbell rang

“Ding dong”

This is it!

I stood up from bed at naglakad ng mabilis papunta sa labas

I am looking forward to talk with him and discuss on plans on how to fix our relationship and more, I can sense that it is truly him waiting outside

Bumaba na ako sa stairs and see yaya getting closer on the door

“Oops yaya,” I signal to her para hindi na siya lumapit pa sa pinto

“Let me open the door” I said to her as I am getting close to her

Bumalik na siya sa kusina habang nasa pintuan na ako, I still love him you know and the connection is still there

“Finally ga, magkikita na ulit tayo” I whispered to my ears and held the doorknob, slowly opening the door--

“Maam, nandito na po yung parcel nyo”

Crap! It’s the delivery guy pala bringing the items I bought online!

I took a sign of disappointment, crap!
Hindi nyo naman pinaalam sakin na darating na agad ang inorder ko 10 days ago!

Cash on delivery ang payment na ginamit ko, oh goodness, akala ko si Pedro na nga, this is an embarrassment!

“Oh maam, bakit po kayo nalulungkot?” the rider asks

Nakabalot talaga siya ha, gray jogging pants, black shirt na may mask pa sa mukha

“Dapat masaya na po kayo dahil dumating na ang order ninyo” he added and I stopped acting weird

Binayaran ko na agad si kuya para matahimik na ito, goodness me!!

Wag na kaya akong mag expect? Umalis na ang rider and I brought the parcel to my room, I’ll keep it there, I’m just gonna open it later
