Jenice Claire's POV

Naalimpungatan ako sa sobrang pagod kaninang madaling araw, dinig ko ang kayraming patak ng tubig na pumapatak sa bubong

Umuulan na pala ngayong umaga and as I slowly open my eyes, I can still perceive him sleeping on my lap na nakakumot

But what’s interesting is that habang nakaupo akong natutulog, may nagbigay din ng kumot sa akin habang tulog ako, para hindi ginawin sa umuulang panahon, and as I look to the side ay nakita ko si Jeff na natutulog sa sopa

It was too obvious to know na he’s the one who gave me a blanket

I was touched by his act of kindness, na kahit sa lamig ng panahon, I can still feel the burning love that surrounds me

It’s raining outside and we didn’t closed the door, I think it’s okay knowing that nobody would come in and steal something

The door remained open and let the cold breezy weather come in, such a gloomy day for nanay, the clouds were crying to her

Both of them are still sleeping and I am the only one who’s awake
Feeling the urge to move, ay dahan-dahan kong inilipat ang kanyang ulo sa sopa at tumayo nang hindi makaistorbo sa kanyang tulog

They were both tired from last night, tapos umuulan pa ang panahon, it’s gonna give them a good night sleep to be honest

Tumayo na ako sa sopa habang mahimbing ang pagkahiga niya dito

I just want to walk around for a moment, pumunta ako sa kabaong at tinignan ang walang buhay na mukha niya

“Hi nay, good morning” I whisper to her coffin, soft enough for her to hear, para hindi magising ang dalawa

Lumabas rin ako ng ilang saglit para makita ang paligid na umuulan, it is raining so bad in Camio dahil ber months na

While staying outside the door for a moment, hindi naman ako nabasa dahil sa tulong ng tent, I can see something close to us, a car

Paving its way through the muddy surface as it parked sa unahan lang ng bahay, I realized na it was manong driver and yaya coming to us

Nagbukas ng payong si manong at si yaya habang dala nila ang isang eco friendly na bag, color blue, I waited for a moment, watching them come to me despite the rainy weather

“Ano po ba ang ginagawa niyo maam? Pumasok na po tayo” Yaya requested pagkarating nila dito, the tent won’t be enough to keep us safe from the rain, we carry on and went inside for shelter

“Nakikiramay po kami sa inyo maam” manong expresses his condolences to us

“Anong meron sa dinadala mo yaya?” I asked in a low tone dahil nakita nilang natutulog pa rin si Pedro at Jeff

I asked her

“Opo maam, sandali lang” kinuha niya ang lalagyan, its tupperware you know, at pumunta na kami sa kusina
