Chapter 31

Jenice Claire's POV

It was like a moment once in a lifetime, it was still in freeze, nakaluhod pa rin yung isang tuhod niya sa harapan ko, habang hinahawakan ang isa kong kamay, i'll capture this moment forever

It was just the two of us and wala nang iba, it was a spectacular moment seen by my very own eyes, felt by my very own feelings, it was my first time experiencing this moment, i don't know what to do, i don't know what to say

"Jenice, Pedro kayo ba yan?", i heard someone shouting to us and unexpectedly, it was Jeff's voice coming afar from a vehicle he was driving, he looked at us na si Pedro nakaluhod sa harapan ko habang hinawakan ang kamay ko, our heads turned by the moment he calls us

It was a few seconds na malayo pa rin siya and as he look at us ay nalimutan na niyang may minamaneho pa siyang car and nag-aalala na ako dahil he's out of control sa vehicle niya and accidentally hit the giant tree by the road, S***!

"Jeff!", i shouted looking at the crashed vehicle by the tree at agad na tumakbo, agad kaming tumakbo ni Pedro papunta sa puno kung saan nabangga ang sasakyan, crap! Anong ginagawa ni Jeff dito in the middle of the dark night na halos walang mga ilaw?

My heart beated quickly because of the fear and nervousness of the moment, we arrived at the car quickly enough to open the door, the hood and front of the vehicle was severely damaged and as i open the door ay agad kong nakita ang walang malay na katawan ni Jeff na punong-puno ng dugo lalo na ang kanyang ulo na nabagok ng sobra sa aksidente

I felt breathless...

I don't know what to do! Napatayo nalang ako sa sobrang pagkabigla sa nangyari, mga labi kong namumutla at parang nawawalan din ng gana na kumilos at gumalaw, "Tulong!!!", i hear Pedro's voice shouting at the empty place kahit wala nang tao ang nakikinig o nakikita

I'm speechless na para bang ayoko nang magsalita o gumalaw habang nakatitig sa kanyang mukhang duguan, bigla akong nabalik sa pagkatao ko noong yugyugin ako ni Pedro sa aking mga balikat, "Jenice, tumawag ka ng tulong! tumawag ka ng tulong!", sigaw niya sakin na para bang natatakot na sa pangyayari

I realized na nandito pa pala yung phone ko at kahit manginig-nginig na ako sa mga kamay ko ay dali kong na-contact ang emergency hotline ng hospital sa bayan ng Camio, the phone rang as quickly as possible and i immediately asked for help, "Tulong! Please help us! naaksidente ang stepfather ko, nabangga siya sa puno at duguan ang katawan niya!", i called as quickly as possible, my hands shaking, my feet left frozen and my emotions are out of control

From feeling so much love, to feeling so much pressure and tension because of this accident, i can't believe that Jeff made me cry for the first time, not because i hate him,  but because i care for him.

He's been delivered at the hospital the moment we called for help, the ambulance came and took Jeff out of the car and went back to the hospital as fast as they can

Ang daming nangyari sa araw na ito! Noong una kinikilig pa nga ako sa nararamdaman namin ni Pedro but all of it suddenly changed because of Jeff's appearance, he came by driving his car and tinawag kaming dalawa na kahit malayo pa siya sa amin and he spun out of control and crashed his vehicle into the big tree

Leaving him and the vehicle damaged, let's not talked about the stupid car anymore, his life is more important than this, all of those memories with Jeff came by in a flash the moment when i see his unconscious face covered in so much blood, he looked like a nightmare to my eyes and now i realize kung gaano ka-importante si Jeff sa buhay ko
