"Huh?" The detective asked, his eyes staring Y/n up and down, "What do you mean?"

Y/n shrugged, "Well, I've been thinking," They started, "You have no clue what demons are, which I suppose I may be able to excuse, but that's just the first part,

"The the two men that brought me here said we were in Musutafu, Japan, and I've never heard of such a place. And I should have since it's so new and modern to me.

"When I said this place was more modern than Asakusa, they looked at me funny, saying Asakusa isn't modern at all. But it is! It's one of the most advanced cities in Japan right now!

"And to add onto that, I have no clue what a quirk is. So, I have one question for you," They said, without taking a breath, "What era is it?"

The man looked utterly shocked to the core. They were telling the truth, all of it! "It's the Reiwa era. Five, I think."

Y/n nodded, "Well, you see," They started, "I'm from the Taisho era."

The detective looked at the slayer for a moment, then fainted, "OH MY GOD-" Y/n shouted, jumping up from their own chair, "What the- help?!" They called out, and the two men from before came rushing in.

They glanced at Y/n, before one of them grabbed some device and talked to someone through it.

They talked for a few minutes while some other people came in and took the detective away, they were all in nurse uniforms, so Y/n assumed it was to help him.

When the man dressed in black got off of the phone, he looked over to Y/n, "We have another meeting to get to." He said plainly.

Y/n frowned, they wanted to be done with all of this crap and get to the good stuff! Like figuring out what the hell was going on and getting back to their fellow hashira!

Y/n sighed and followed the scruffy man into another, more cozy room in the station. This one had two couches facing each other as well as two arm chairs to either side of them surrounding a coffee table.

The two men sat on either armchair, and gestured for Y/n to sit on a couch. They obliged, grumbling about sitting down for too long.

"So, who are you guys, anyways?" They asked, staring at the tired one.

The two men shared a glance before looking back at Y/n, "I'm Shouta Aizawa," The tired one said, "The pro hero Erasurehead."

Y/n stifled a laugh at the outlandish name, "And I'm Yagi Toshinori!" The buff one said energetically, "Number one hero All Might!"

Biting their lip, Y/n nodded, "Heroes, huh?" They hummed, "I really am somewhere far, far from home."

Aizawa- the scrawnier one- nodded, "Your name is L/n? Correct?" He asked, and Y/n nodded, "Then, L/n, we'll try our best to get you home."

Y/n smiled slightly at his declaration, "I hope your best will be good enough," They said, a certain spark in their eyes not matching entirely with the smile on her face.

The two men shifted slightly, but the three were disturbed when another person came in. It was a small bipedal animal-type thing, perhaps a rat, or a bear. He looked almost like a demon, but the aura was off and he was missing the air of horror that came with being one.

"Oh my! Oh my!" The animal-man exclaimed, waddling over to the couch and climbing onto it, "You must be the mysterious Y/n L/n Aizawa walk talking about!" He chimed, smiling as he did, despite his eyes being empty.

He almost reminded the half demon of Upper Moon Two, with an empty smile and even more meaningless words.

Y/n frowned at his cheerful tone, "Get to the point, will you?" They asked, dismissing the formalities.

The rat-bear-demon-person-thing laughed, "I'm Nezu! Principle of U.A high school for heroes!" He said, "And I want you to join!"

Y/n grimaced, "I'm eighteen, you know? An adult that doesn't need to take school?" They asked rhetorically, though the mouse didn't seem to catch on.

"Ah yes!" He beamed, "Eighteen indeed! What a marvelous age!" Nezu patronized, "But still, we must have eyes on you, you're too strong!"

Y/n's eyes narrowed as they scowled, "You know exactly what gets me going, hm?" They mused, "But I'm better than that, I of all people know pride won't get me anywhere." They said, dismissing the mouse-man's empty words.

"Well then, how about this," The rat argued, "We need to keep watch over you so we can alert you if we find any clues," He explained, "And since both Aizawa and Toshinori work at U.A and teach the same class, we'll put you in that one!"

Y/n pursed their lips, before clicking their tongue, "I don't know what you want from me, but fine," They caved, "A school for heroes is supposed to be challenging, right?" Y/n asked, scoffing, "And I do love a challenge."

Nezu laughed, "Alright then! For now, you'll be staying with Toshinori over here!" He said, gesturing to his left (y/n's right) and pointing at All Might.

"Indeed, I shall be your caretaker, Young L/n!" He declared as if it was his magnum opus.

The slayer only nodded dismissively, choosing not to say anything else.

And, like that, the two others dispersed, leaving Toshinori and Y/n in the room.

All Might cleared his throat, getting the attention of Y/n, "So! The entrance exam is in three weeks! We must train you to perfection!"

Y/n pursed their lips, shaking their head, "I know how to train," They said, "So don't worry your pretty little head, Toshinori Yagi."

Toshinori nodded, caught off guard by their sudden change in attitude. One second they'd be distant, the next they'd be defensive, then all close and personal!

All Might had a lot on his plate already. And now he'd have to take care of an otherworldly being?!

It was too much for the guy to handle...
