Y/n tapped their foot as they waited for the bell to ring. They had promised they'd meet the 1-B kids so they could all train together.

They glanced to the door, where Izuku, Ochacco, and Tenya were huddled, "What's going on?" Y/n asked, walking up to them.

Izuku turned around, "Y-Y/n!" He said, startled, "Well... We aren't sure either..."

Y/n stared at the crowd of UA students forming at the door, "Hey," They waved, "You're kind of annoying so.. can you leave?"

The boy in front scoffed. He had tired eyes and fluffy purple hair, "You're the best 1-A has to offer..?" His voice was raspy, "Some self obsessed jerk? I expected better from the hero course."

"Hey!" A louder voice called. Y/n saw a glimmer of silver hair pushing through the crowd, "That's Y/n! Leave them alone!"

Y/n smiled, "Ah! Tetsutetsu!" They greeted.

"Tch," A familiar gruff voice interrupted, "Who the hell are you punks, huh?! Here to scout out the competition or whatever?!"

Y/n turned to Bakugo, "Inubaka, you really must learn manners," They frowned, "It's unbecoming of a future hero to be so... rude."

"Why should I care about these extras?!" He shouted, "Move it!"

Tenya gasped, "You can't go around calling people extras just because you don't know who they are!"

The purple haired boy sighed, "I heard you guys were impressive, but you two just sound like assholes," He said, "Is all of the hero course delusional, or just you two?"

Y/n frowned, "With an attitude like that it's no wonder you didn't get into the hero course!" They said.

"Y-Y/n!" Izuku sweat.

"I may have not cut it the first time around," The boy said, "But like many others here now I have a chance. If any of us do well at the sports festival the teachers can decide to transfer us to the hero course," He explained, "And they'll have to transfer people out to make room."

Y/n smiled, "So this really is becoming a competition?" They laughed, "Put on a good show, Bed-Head! I hope you can entertain me!"

"Y/n!" Izuku shouted again, "That's not nice at all!"

"Huh?" Y/n tilted their head, "I'm only telling the truth!"

The purple boy hummed, "Scouting out the competition, huh?" He mused, "Maybe my peers are, but I'm here to let you know that if you don't bring your very best I'll steal your spot right from under you. Consider this a declaration of war."

Y/n laughed slightly before it grew louder, "Bring my all? You sure are funny," They said, "I'm Y/n!" The half-demon extended their arm, "I would say 'let's get along,' but I don't think that's what either of us are looking for!"

"Hitoshi Shinso," He ignored their hand, "This isn't a joke, you know."

Y/n shrugged, "Maybe it isn't to you!"

"Stop ignoring me!" Tetsutetsu shouted, "I'm in 1-B right next door to you! I heard you fought some villains, but I'm starting to think it was just Y/n! 'Cause the rest of you are just brats who think you're better than us!"

"No need to be so hostile, Tetsu!" Y/n said, "Just ignore Inubaka, he's not very smart!"

Bakugo growled, "Says you! I scored way higher than you in every class!"

Y/n tilted their head, "You're forgetting heroics, Inubaka!"

"Still! This doesn't matter anyways!" Bakugo said as he started walking away.
