Y/n L/n never asked for this life. They never wanted to become a demon, nor a slayer. They wanted to live, truly and freely live a life they were never given. They, after falling ill at six years of age, thought lady Tamayo could help.

They became a demon, despite the consequences thinking it would miraculously fix a hole they didn't know the cause of. Y/n was selfish, and cold, the perfect mold for a demon.

Yet, when they became one, their heart melted for one thing, and one thing only: a challenge. As the years flew by and they trained more, everything became weak to them. They wanted more- desired for the world to charge at them, they wanted to feel their heart race, to know that deep down, they were still alive. To know that they were still human.

Y/n L/n rose up the ranks, mastering their own personalized breathing style: sins breathing. It was weaker than most, they knew that. They liked it that way. One day, they became a Hashira. Some hated the idea of a part-demon becoming one of the most important ranks in the corps, but Y/n had sworn off eating humans long ago.

Y/n wished for so much, yet received so little. As they wished for love, they received hate, and as they wished for hate, they received love.

Y/n no longer understood what they wanted, only what they didn't have. They wanted everything they lacked, they lacked weakness, so that was what they desired most.

"Y/n..." A voice mumbled in the slayer's ear, making them shift, but not open their eyes, "I love you, lotus... I really, really love you..."

Y/n sat up groggily, looking around the room. Someone was there. Someone touched them, and someone talked to them. The aura surrounding them was hazy, but familiar. They just couldn't figure it out.

Sighing, they found their uniform and put it on sloppily. They looked at themself in the mirror, fixing up their still sleepy appearance before walking out of their room. Despite being part demon, Y/n still had to sleep, but only for a few hours as opposed to several.

They walked out to see Toshinori in his no might form cooking eggs. They grabbed their bag from the couch, looking over into the kitchen, "I'm heading out, Toshinori!" They waved.

All Might smiled, "Y/n, why not stay for breakfast?" He offered.

Y/n furrowed their brows. While they could technically eat human food, it was in no way necessary for them, especially if it wasn't meat, "Um, I'm alright, Toshinori," They shrugged, "I wanted to train for a few hours, so..."

They glanced outside, it was still dark out, as the sun had yet to rise. It was currently around four A.M. Toshinori's frown deepened, "You're already strong, and I don't think jumping from building for three hours is necessarily training..."

Y/n bit their lip. As much as they didn't want to admit it, they were unsettled by the presence in their room. The implication of it... well, it wasn't something Y/n particularly enjoyed, "Fine, Toshinori," They grumbled, "I'm not eating, though."

All Might simply shrugged, "Fine by me, Y/n!" He said, putting his plate of eggs and bacon down on the small dining table and motioning for Y/n to join him. Begrudgingly, they did.

Y/n sat uncomfortably, watching Toshinori eat, "All Might-"

"Toshinori," He corrected, making Y/n glare at him.

"Yeah, Toshinori," They repeated, "I think you need better security systems," They grumbled, staring at the man in irritation. Not towards him, necessarily, it was more towards the world in general at this point.

All Might jolted up, "Whatever do you mean, Y/n?" He asked, still slurping up his fried eggs.

Y/n sighed, "Someone's been coming into my room at night or when I'm away and-"

"SOMEONE'S BEEN WHAT?!?" All Might shouted, smoke clouding the room as he turned from the shock of it. He quickly reverted, coughing up some blood, "Y-Y/n! Why didn't you tell me sooner? Oh, this must be bad..." He mumbled.

Y/n shrugged, "So, can you, like, put in some... wait nevermind," They mumbled, trailing off for a second. They did not trust there to be cameras in their room, "Can you put in some sort of alarm system?"

All Might nodded, "Of course, Y/n!" He said determinedly, "Now, I must go off to do heroics!" He yelled, turning suddenly, "Goodbye, Y/n!"

Y/n gave him a stiff thumbs up, "Yeah, thanks, All Migh- Toshinori."

Y/n jumped off of a building suddenly, before walking to the U.A gates. The U.A gates, which were now crowded by a bunch of reporters. Y/n did not like that. Not one bit.

They pushed through the crowd as people yelped.

"Oh my!"

"Is that a U.A student?"

"They aren't wearing the uniform!"

"Isn't that All Might's child?"

"It is!"

Y/n walked through the crowd, dodging flashing lights and boom mics. As they pushed through, they glanced over their shoulder to see something. It was a familiar aura. The periwinkle haired villain.

They blinked, shooting the man an amused look before quickly jumping over the gate and into the courtyard. They were suddenly excited for today. But soon, that excitement would turn to shock.

Soon, my lotus, so, so soon...
