fifteen , what

Y/n blinked, looking at the blonde hero blankly. They were exhausted, and did not need to be pulled out of class (prime sleep time) to go out to lunch with this hero. Sitting across from Y/n was the Wing Hero: Hawks. They poked their bento box with their chopsticks as Hawks dug into grilled chicken skewers.

Y/n sighed lightly, looking at the man, "Hawks-" The man clicked his tongue as Y/n stared to speak,. interrupting them. Y/n glared at the chewing man.

"It's Keigo," He smiled, "Hawks seems so unfamiliar, Mockingbird," He smirked slyly.

The demon slayer narrowed their eyes at the man, "We are unfamiliar, Hawks," They frowned, "This is my second time ever meeting you, I don't even call All Might his first name," They argued.

The man only laughed, "So cold, Mockingbird," He tsk'ed, "I see you don't have my feather on you..." He frowned, his voice trailing off for a moment, "I gave it to you so you could have it on you always," He smiled, a part of his thoughts unspoken, yet Y/n pieced it together well.

"Did you pull me out of class to give me another 'memento?'" Their frown deepened, "I really was excited to see you," They noticed the hero's eyes get larger, "I thought you wanted to entertain me, fight me," They deflated, slouching in their chair, "But instead you tell me we're close, or whatever," Y/n waved their hand dismissively, "If you want us to be close, challenge me!" They shot him a bright smile, before it faded away.

Hawks stiffened, sighing, "I know there's other ways of getting close to you," He said, making Y/n stare at him in curiosity, "I just have to find them," As he spoke, a red feather fell off of his wing, and drifted in front of Y/n's bento.

Y/n picked it up, and clicked their tongue, "Hawks," The man's eyes looked only at them, as if it was only those two in the restaurant, "I've been wondering, you can track these, right?" They didn't wait for an answer, "Can you feel it," They asked, running their fingers on the barbs, "Hear through it," They leaned into it, and whispered lowly into the feather, "What can you do with it, Keigo?" They didn't make any expression as they stood up, "You intrigue me, Takami," They started, "Not entertain, but you really do intrigue me," And with that, they turned and left.

Hawks could only watch as they walked away, fiddling with the feather as they did.

When Hawks saw some kid on the side of a building, he assumed it was just a simple troublemaker. He had accidentally made them fall, but they had somehow flug themself onto a balcony.

How did they do that?

They had no clue who he was, which was strange. He was popular with the youth, especially older teens. When he did introduce himself, they brought up All Might, yet didn't even know his hero name. They were the kid rumored to be the number one hero's child, that was clear, yet they couldn't have been. They used the man's last name, not first, or any form of calling the man dad.

Who were they, really?

They insisted on fighting him, despite his refusal. He argued he didn't want to fight kids, yet they argued back, saying they were eighteen. That wasn't much younger than the hero, yet they looked so much more youthful. When asking if it was a quirk thing, they gave him a suspiciously vague answer.

What was their quirk?

Nothing strange had happened on the way to their house, just plain banter. Eventually, he had to leave, but for some strange reason, he didn't want to. He wanted to get answers, but he couldn't. After a few minutes of them being seperated, he heard something through his feather. It was All Might, he seemed worried, before his worry turned to malice. Not directed at Y/n, rather those after them.

It seemed they had the symbol of peace wrapped around their finger, ready to do anything for their sake, yet they despised it. They fought back, angry at the man. Hawks just didn't get it.

What were they after?

After their conversation with All Might, they spoke to the feather, to Hawks. They touched the feather so gently, blowing on it, and putting it right next to their lips as they asked if Hawks was listening. It seemed so intimate, and Hawks was convinced they were a crazed fan that was good at acting.

But, instead of continuing to touch the feather, and play with it, they suddenly seemed to lose interest and leave it. He just didn't understand.

What did they want?

They must have wanted him, to seduce him and trick him into loving them. They were just another crazed fan with some sort of love quirk. A love quirk that was working on him. The strange fan infected his every thought, and at times he could have sworn he saw them lurking. He never truly did.

Something had happened to him, and it was all their fault, but he'd figure it out. After a week of listening in, they didn't say one thing about the man again, nor touch or talk to the feather. All he heard was them complaining about U.A.

They'd be going into class 1-A despite their age, due to All Might teaching it. He didn't get it, what had they done to need to be monitored. Or perhaps All Might simply didn't want to leave them.

Maybe he was also subject to their quirk, just like Hawks.

The hero couldn't stand his unanswered questions, so he pulled them out of class on their first day in order to take them to lunch. They seemed upset, even though they were obviously a fan of him. They didn't even accept his advances, but they wanted him, he knew they did. Knew they had to.

As they left, they had whispered one more thing into the feather, "Keep on trying, then you'll entertain me," They had said. They had to mean they wanted him to pursue them, they were just playing hard to get.

They were no less obsessed than him. They loved him just as much as he did them. They really were a tsundere, but what kind of dere was he..? They'd figure that out together!

After all, there was a chain of love linking them!
