Y/n woke up a few hours later. The sun lit up their room, shining in past their slightly parted curtains. It must have been later in the morning, as the sun was almost at its peak.
The streets just outside of U.A were not packed with reporters as they usually were. The routine bustling and shouts were replaced by the occasional runner and pedestrian.
They sat up in their bed. Their back and arms hurt. As well as their head. They groaned, having no recollection of the night before. They couldn't remember much after they left Dabi's home.
They remembered how they felt, though. There was pain, desire. Such potent, sickening desire. Y/n wasn't sure for what. Y/n didn't know if they wanted to be sure.
They bit their lip, standing up slowly. Their legs seemed weaker than normal, they noted. Y/n walked out of their room, opening their door and stepping out into the main part of Aizawa's U.A apartment.
They walked into the kitchen, spotting Aizawa sitting on the couch reading. The older man's eyes flickered to Y/n, before turning back to his phone, "Good morning, Y/n," He greeted, sighing as he put his phone in his pocket, "I wasn't expecting you to be up so early, I would have made you food."
Y/n shrugged, "I wouldn't have eaten it anyways," They said plainly, "I don't eat normal food, remember?"
"Right," Aizawa hummed, standing up from the couch, "Y/n, do you remember anything that happened last night, you're.." His voice trailed off as he stepped into the kitchen.
The half demon shook their head, "Nah, I have no recollection of anything pretty much," They told the man, "Why do you ask?"
"..I'm worried," He said, "I found you passed out on the floor, so I was wondering why."
Y/n nodded their head in understanding, "I don't know why I would have passed out.." They frowned, looking over at Aizawa, "You really don't know anything?"
"I know where I found you at, but.." Aizawa shrugged, "Nothing else."
Y/n sighed, taking a sip of their water, "Thank you anyways, Shouta," They told the man, staring at them with a deadpan look on their face.
"..It was the least I could do, Y/n," The older man said, "After what I did to that man, I owe you an apology, don't I?"
Y/n paused for a moment, "That was your apology?" Their mood seemed to shift, "Saving me?"
"No," Aizawa sighed, "That's not what I meant," He told Y/n, staring back at them, "I told you this last night, but-"
"Last night?" Y/n cut Aizawa off, "I thought you said you didn't see me till after I was passed out?"
"Let me finish," Aizawa said, "but I'm sure you don't remember it," He lowered his gaze for a moment, before looking back up at Y/n, "I know Rengoku means a lot to you, Y/n," He started "And I trust your judgement, so, I'm going to try to talk the police into getting him out of jail."
Y/n's eyes seemed to light up at the mention of freeing Kyojuro. It made Aizawa's heart clench. He wanted Y/n to be happy all the time. He wanted their eyes to be as bright as they were in that moment, constantly.
"You'll free Kyojuro?" They asked, as if not sure that he was serious. When Aizawa nodded, Y/n had to keep themself from squealing like a little kid, "Thank you, Aizawa," They said, "I'm glad to know I can trust you."
"Yes," Aizawa hummed. Y/n could trust him. They could trust him with everything. He'd take care of it all, they didn't need to do anything but ask, and he would have it done.
If he was being honest, Aizawa didn't want to free Kyojuro. He'd feel more secure knowing the man was locked up somewhere safe. That way Y/n could keep smiling at him, and no one else.
But, he knew that was unreasonable. If it made Y/n happy to set Kyojuro free, Aizawa would do it. No matter how badly he didn't want to. Because Y/n could trust him with anything.

Aizawa made note of the time he was entering the otherworlder's containment cell. 1:29pm. Aizawa opened the door to the cell, and stared at the chained up man before him.
Y/n's instructor looked almost pitiful. He had a smile on his face, but it was obvious it wasn't genuine. Aizawa clicked his tongue and walked all the way into the room before shutting the door.
"I made a deal with the principal of U.A," He told the man, before adding on, "U.A's the school Y/n attends."
The man stared at him, his smile blank but unwavering. For a few, awkward moments, he didn't speak. Aizawa thought he wasn't going to at all, but the man let out a small chuckle, "Y/n goes to school?" He asked, his voice soft.
"...That's not of concern right now," Aizawa's voice was cold. Something in him twisted when he heard how soft the man's voice of when speaking of Y/n. But he pushed it down. There was no time to linger on his own feelings- Aizawa was doing this to make Y/n happy. That was what mattered. Their happiness was all that mattered.
So, Aizawa sucked in a deep, steadying breath and continued, "You will be granted your freedom, under the condition that you stay on U.A grounds at all time."
Rengoku tilted his head, that stupid, slappable smile still plastered on his stupid, slappable face, "I never imagined my Y/n would attend a school," He mused, "They always hated things like that."
Aizawa clenched his fists. His Y/n? HIS Y/n? Who the hell did this Rengoku Kyojuro guy think he was? If Y/n heard Kyojuro say they were his, surely they'd be furious.
Right?
Well, if Y/n heard Aizawa say that, they'd be furious. Aizawa's Y/n. His.
When Aizawa caught his lips curling up into a smile, he snapped himself out of it. Stay focused, he told himself, make Y/n happy.
"Well, I guess you don't know everything about them," Aizawa drawled.
Kyojuro hummed, "And you do?"
"I know more than-" Aizawa cut himself off before he could finish spitting out the vitriolic words he so dearly wished to. Because he didn't know more than Kyojuro did. He didn't know a fraction of that Kyojuro knew. And that was what pissed him off the most.
Aizawa let out a gruff sigh and walked closer to Kyojuro, "You're being let out," He told the man once again, as if he believed Kyojuro didn't understand him the first time he said it.
"Y/n," Kyojuro mumbled under his breath. It made Aizawa not want to free the man at all.
But he did. Because it would make Y/n happy. And that was what mattered, right?
