Class ended after everyone had shared their new hero names. While most of Y/n's classmates stayed behind, they opted to leave to visit the 1-B students.

Y/n found them loitering outside of the school building, in the courtyards. Itsuka's head perked up when Y/n approached, and she smiled, "Y/n! Hey!"

Tetsu looked up as well, "I haven't seen you since the festival! How have you been?"

"Good," Y/n nodded, stopping in front of the trio. They glanced at Monoma, "No hello for me?" They teased.

Monoma scoffed and crossed his arms, "Hey, Y/n," He grumbled.

"What's got you in such a bad mood?" Y/n questioned.

Itsuka laughed, "He's angry at you," She fake-whispered, "Because you 'lost' the festival to a 1-A student."

Y/n tilted their head, "But, I'm 1-A as well?" They questioned.

Tetsu laughed and slapped Y/n on the back, making their eyes widen, "Try tellin' him that!" The man said.

Monoma's face heated up, "You know what I mean!" Monoma yelled, "You should have won! But you...you just gave up instead!"

"Something came up," Y/n shrugged.

"Was it an emergency?" Itsuka asked, concerned, "Are you alright, Y/n?"

Y/n hummed, "Yeah, I'm fine," They brushed off the girl's concerns, "Just...someone I knew got arrested, so I went to see them."

"Are they alright now?" Tetsu asked.

"I'm...not sure," Y/n admitted, "But, he's strong, so I'm sure, no matter what, he'll be A-okay in the end." Y/n smiled.

"You're pretty when you smile," Itsuka said. Y/n looked up at her with big eyes, and the girl chuckled, "You don't smile often. It's nice when you do, Y/n."

"Yeah!" Tetsu nodded, "It's so warm! Makes me feel all fuzzy inside."

Monoma huffed, "I don't know what you guys are talking about," He rolled his eyes, "They look fine smiling. But nothing to fuss over."

"Can't even be a supportive friend around this guy anymore," Itsuka grumbled and playfully punched Monoma's arm.

"Have you guys chosen where to intern yet?" Y/n asked, changing the topic away from themself.

Itsuka nodded, "Yeah! I got a request from Pro Hero Uwabami!" She told Y/n, "That was my only request so, I kinda had to take it," She admitted sheepishly.

"I haven't chosen anywhere yet," Tetsutetsu shook his head, "But I'm going to decide soon! I'm between three right now...trying to decide on which is manliest."

"I haven't either," Monoma said, "I just got soo many offers! It's hard to decide!" He snickered.

"Liar!" Itsuka chastised.

Tetsu nodded, "Yeah! You only got four, what're you talkin' about, man?!"

Y/n hummed, "I haven't decided," They told Monoma, "I got a thousand offers, but I don't really care about things like this."

"Why nod Hawks?" Itsuka asked, "Or All Might? I'm sure they gave you offers, and they're super strong! You could learn a lot from the both of them!"

Y/n's lips formed into a thin line. Something told them that both of those heroes would be less focused on letting them fight villains and save people, and more focused on benign nonsense like why Y/n didn't talk to them enough.

"Nah, not for me," They shook their head, "I want something exciting, but less well known."

"I'm sure some real desperate heroes requested you, Y/n," Monoma mocked, "Just accept one of those nobodies!"
