"Letting a demon become a slayer..! What unflashy babbling is this?!" The Sound Hashira scoffed, "That demon will kill us all," He snarled out.

"No!" Rengoku shook his head, "I've known L/n for quite some time now! I assure you my Tsuguko will not harm another human!"

Tengen scoffed, "How unflashy of you, Rengoku!" He insulted, "No matter how good you think this demon is, their power will make them eat someone."

"I trust L/n."

"That trust will be the death of us."

Y/n clutched their sheathed sword as they prepared to enter the arena. This was the fight they had been looking forward to. This would be their true challenge.

"Y/n.."

Y/n turned around, "All Might.. Toshinori," They greeted, "What do you want?"

"I came to wish you luck," He said. He was in his weak form at the moment.

Y/n hummed, "Shouldn't you be in the stands?" They asked, "Why're you down here?"

All Might sighed, "Y/n, I... How can I make this up to you?"

"Can you not right now?" Y/n frowned, "I have no time for this.. pathetic apology. I'm about to fight Todoroki."

"I know, Y/n, good luck," He nodded, "And..-"

"Good luck is all you need to say," Y/n said, "You don't need to say more. You never do."

All Might spoke too much for Y/n's liking. Like Izuku.

"And now! The first semi final match is on!" Mic's voice cut through the two's conversation, "First, the Ice Prince, Todoroki!" Y/n bit their lip, turning away from All Might, "And the equally cold, L/n!"

Y/n rolled their eyes, walking to the arena and clutching their sword. Once they reached it, they let out a breath, "Todoroki," They said.

"THREE!"

"Please, don't hold back."

"TWO!"

"... I'm not using that power."

"ONE!"

"I'll make you."

"AND, GO!"

"Ugh!" Todoroki grunted, blasting ice straight for Y/n. The half demon quickly jumped out of the way and cut through the ice, "I'll defeat you without using my left side!"

Y/n laughed, "Oh Todoroki," They clicked their tongue, gripping onto their sword and dashing towards the boy. In a flash, they were right next to him, blunt side of their sword to his neck, "You underestimate me.."

Y/n swung their sword, forcing Todoroki to make an ice barrier to keep him inside of the arena. He clutched his neck, "He's watching me.." Todoroki said, "I won't give in!"

Todoroki pushed more ice Y/n's way. They once again sliced through the large blast, "Using your powers doesn't mean forgiving him, Todoroki!" Y/n shouted, running to the boy, "It means making use of your full potential! Don't let that go to waste!"

Todoroki sent smaller bursts of ice, which Y/n ducked and weaved through to dodge, "Shut up!" Todoroki yelled, "Make use of my full potential?" He scoffed, sending more ice Y/n's way, "I hear you, you know? Always muttering about holding back..."

Y/n jumped back as Todoroki pushed a large amount of ice to them.

"You don't use your power, either! So why should I use mine?!"

"That's not true! I might hold back, but.. I use the power that man gave to me!" They insisted, "I'll prove it to you, Todoroki! You don't have to deny your true abilities! Embrace the power you were given!"
