Title: ... Of being a student...
I hope that summer is half a year
So I won't mind going back to school
But reality is it's almost near
Hoping, it would only make me a fool
I know we yearn to learn 'bout life
And all it's mysterious turns
Or how to chop an onion with knife
Or end up cooking in burns
I know we need to fill our brains
Of how we came to be
And how it pours, and how it rains
And the sun we need to see
To dig deeper the start of things
And play with numbers too
Learn how to plant or make phone rings
Discuss the animals in the zoo
Oh! Crap! It's almost time to hurry
School is in the next ten minutes
Staple food, be nuts or berry
I need to move and fidget
A student's life so they say
Is all but routinary
Wake up in the morning, too early
Take time to browse the dictionary
But what is life if never be a student?
Will we all learn the best?
Just cherish and succumb each moment
And you will not end up least
Student is when you learn to read
To write, to count and talk
Instead of slacking in your bed
Best when you touch a book
For life is a pace of learning and yearning
That we can always consider
A time to go to school attending
And earn the best gift to ponder...
Education!
