I have been spending my time alone
Watching lovers passing by full of love
Reality knocked and it brought me home
When will I find my girl, the gift from above?
How soon is she coming in my way?
Or will I look for her around the world?
Is she the girl in red or that woman in gray?
When will my love story be ever told?
Shall I ask for someone perfect as the rainbow?
For my life is at it's longing state
That tomorrow will bring me an open window
And asking she could be someone brought to me by fate
I might not have seen a single lady
A woman that I would adore forever
But in His time, I can wait patiently
And destiny will bring me to her
I long to walk with her along the way
Her pillar of strength as we start our journey
Might be shadowed by ups and downs
My promise is for her to calm and stay
I might have meet her along the way
Or might have chatted, talked and converse
But let the future surprise the whole of me
For once I got to lay my heart at her, its all hers
I long for someone who would understand me
The kind of girl every guy desire
The one who would wake me up and kiss me
A boost for my day, it would inspire
A woman of beauty inside-out
With pure heart and undying innocence
She never would let me see a face in pout
And my hug is all that she needs to feel my presence
A lady of confidence, a mother of my kids
The light in our family, the guide of the children
My daily dose of wants and needs
And our family's only reason for our grin
I would bring her flowers and let her ask for more
Take her to places and give her what I can offer
Give her everything and let her open new doors
For without her, my life, my love is a total suffer
But He only knows whom I would be holding hands
Who I would cherish my life with to forever
I can't do more but wait for the chance
When He would lead the way for the girl that I would surrender
To my future wife, I am just here
My eyes may lay to some other's sight
But I know God will lead me at your doorstep
To start a new life that we will both fight.
