Daemon's Pov.

We have about 7 days left before his army arrives, and that it if luck is on our side. The wall is close to being done. They are working on the last 2 trenches, and Yara and her men only need to finish the last 5 catapults and 3 more trebuchets.

So let's hope for once luck will be on  our side and he will well the best would be if he crawled back in the hole he came out from but I'll settle for him coming once everything is finished.

Walking past the library, I soon stop in my tracks as I hear Dany speak.

"I'm here because I love Daemon. I trust him, and I know he's true to his word. He's only the second man in my life I can say that about."

Wait, what? She loves me like love, love?! Sure we have fucked a couple of times and sometimes she sleeps with me in my chambers but love?!

"Who was the first?" Sansa asks and well am I supposed to hear this conversation I don't know do I care? No.

"Someone taller." Danny says and they both release a chuckle. Rude.

"And what happens afterwards? We defeat the dead, Daemon took out Cersei. What happens then?" Sansa asks and I tilt my head to the side.

"Daemon will be officially crowded, King." Danny awsers simply.

"What about the North? It was taken from us, and we took it back. And we said we'd never bow to anyone else again. What about the North?" Sansa states and gotta love the tension that's building right now in the library.

Walking in, i clear my troath, and both heads snap in my direction. "I think I'm quite tall." I simply say, and Dany raises her brow at me.

"Listening to conversations now, your grace." She states, and I give her a shrug. "The tension I could feel from miles away." I counter, and Sansa gets up.

"The North bend the knee, Lady Sansa." I state, and she shakes her head. "Jon bend the knee." She counters, and I give her a shrug.

"As far as I know, the first day, all of the lords and ladies bended the knee, including the ones from the North. But I also know that they will always want to be independent, " I say, and I think i saw her eyes light up for a second.

"So you will let us be independent?" She asks, and I shake my head. "No."

"I wish for you to marry me." I state, and she raises her brow at me. "Marry you? Aren't you two already getting married?" She states, and I give her a shurg.

"We are, but I wish to marry you too. The North has always wanted ties to the trone, and that way, they will." I  say, and by the look I'm getting, I'm pretty sure she doesn't like the idea.

"So you wish to marry me like I'm a broodmare? Because you're afraid the North will rebel against you. I've been wed of like a broodmare once before and I won't do it again." Sansa states before she walks out of the library.

Releasing a deep breath, I pinch the bridge of my nose. That could have gone way better.

"That went good." Dany says, and I snap my eyes in her direction. "Aren't you a smart one ."  I mumble under my breath.

"You could always force Jon's hand." She states, and I shake my head. "You know first hand what it is like to be sold of like a broodmare. If Sansa doesn't wish to marry, I won't force her. Just as if you do not wish to marry me, I won't force your hand." I say as I let our eyes meet.

It's true sure there are politician bonuses, but I won't force their hands. Seeing Dany walk over to me, she snakes her hands around my neck, and I quirk my brow.
