Justin woke up with a sense of urgency. The familiar sound of his alarm echoed through the room, jolting him from his peaceful slumber. Rubbing his eyes, he glanced at the clock, realizing he had overslept by an hour. Panic set in as he quickly threw off the covers and stumbled out of bed.

Today was not just any ordinary day; it was Valentine's Day, and Justin's college was organizing a grand event in the grand hall. As the head of the event planning committee, he had the responsibility to make sure everything ran smoothly. The clock was ticking, and there was still an immense amount of work left to be done.

With a surge of adrenaline pulsing through his veins, Justin sprinted towards the shower, desperately trying to shake off the remnants of sleep. He hurriedly got dressed, barely noticing the color of his shirt or the combination of his shoes. All that mattered now was getting to the venue and finishing the decorations in time.

As he dashed out of his apartment, Justin's mind was flooded with thoughts of the event. The grand hall needed to be transformed into a captivating space that celebrated love and romance. He visualized the stage where the Opening Event would take place, with a backdrop of swirling hearts and delicate fairy lights. The intermission area would be adorned with enchanting floral arrangements and elegant table settings, creating a magical ambiance.

As Justin sprinted across campus, he could feel the weight of the responsibility on his shoulders. The success of the event depended on his meticulous planning and attention to detail. It wasn't just about impressing the attendees, but also about creating an unforgettable experience for the couples who would be celebrating their love on this special day.

As Justin reached the school gates, he spotted a familiar figure standing there. It was Josh, his close friend, but he couldn't understand why he was here. Josh was never a part of the event planning team, so Justin wondered why he had come.

Justin approached Josh, his brow furrowed in confusion. But before he could say anything, Josh extended his hand, offering him a steaming latte. A small smile played on his lips as he greeted Justin.

"Good morning, Jahjah!" Josh exclaimed, using the nickname that only their close group of friends knew. Justin couldn't help but feel a pang of irritation at being called by that name in public. He instinctively smacked Josh's arm, reminding him not to use it here.

Josh chuckled, seemingly unfazed by Justin's reaction. "Relax, man. I know you hate it, but you're always early on event days. I figured a little caffeine boost would kickstart your day."

Justin raised an eyebrow, still skeptical about his friend's sudden appearance and thoughtful gesture. "How did you even know I would be here so early? And why are you even helping me?"

Josh's grin widened, his eyes sparkling mischievously. "I may not be part of the team officially, but that doesn't mean I can't lend a hand. Besides, I heard about the Valentine's Day event and thought it would be a great opportunity to show off my secret talent for decorating."

Justin couldn't help but be intrigued by Josh's unexpected offer. While his friend was known for his laid-back nature and love for practical jokes, he also had a creative streak that no one really knew about.

"Okay, fine," Justin conceded, a glimmer of a smile playing on his lips. "But only on one condition. No funny business, Josh. We need to get this venue ready in time."

Josh crossed his heart mockingly, his expression filled with mock seriousness. "Cross my heart and hope to die. No funny business, I promise."

Rolling his eyes, Justin couldn't help but smile at Josh's infectious enthusiasm. They both started walking towards the grand hall, appreciating the fact that Josh had come to lend a helping hand. As they arrived, Justin's smile widened as he saw that the venue was already half-way finished. The team had worked diligently the previous day to set up the decorations and transform the grand hall into a romantic haven.
