Chapter 4: You're leaving?

Not too long after, Geto was called away on a mission. There, he saw two young sorcerer girls left in a cage and treated cruelly, blamed for everything bad happening in the village. That was when he made his decision.

"Huh?" 

It was all Gojo managed to say after their teacher broke the news about how Geto had killed an entire village and was sentenced to death. (Y/N), who was standing beside her friend was equally as shocked and speechless. 

"Don't make me repeat myself. Suguru killed everyone in the village and-"

"I heard you the first time that's why I said that." Gojo interrupts harshly.

"His old home was empty as well. He most likely killed his parents too-"

"LIKE HELL HE DID." the white-haired boy interrupts again.

"Satoru." the teacher says sternly. "I don't understand what's going on either."

He sounded almost desperate. Gojo was clenching his fist, digging his nails into his skin, and drawing blood. Without a word nor a glance at anyone, (Y/N) walked away swiftly.

"You got a lighter?" Shoko asks after searching her jacket.

"No, I don't, sorry." (Y/N) replies, tapping her pockets.

"Need a lighter?" a familiar voice asks.

The two girls turn around to see Geto standing there, a smile on his face.

"Hey." he waves.

"It's the criminal." Shoko remarks with a smile. "Need something?"

"Just testing my luck I guess."

"I think we should ask if you're innocent." (Y/N) says, a soft smile on her face.

"Nope, unfortunately, I'm not." the boy replies lightly.

"Then I'll ask further. Why?" the girl with short brown hair questions.

"I want to create a world with only jujutsu sorcerers."

(Y/N) frowns slightly at his response while Shoko laughs and says she doesn't get it.

"I'm not a child anymore, I can't expect everyone to understand." he simply replies.

(Y/N) was deep in thought when Shoko picked up her phone.

"Hey, Gojo? I found Geto. Yeah (Y/N)'s here too."

......

They were both walking in a large crowd of people and there was a good distance between the two.

"Explain yourself Suguru." Gojo says, following his friend.

"You already heard from Shoko and (Y/N) right? That's all there is."

"So you're just gonna kill everyone that isn't a sorcerer? Even your parents?" he retorts.

"I can't let my parents be an exception, can I? Besides, those people aren't my family anymore."

"I thought you were against killing without a reason?"

"There is a reason. A significance too." Geto replies simply. "Even a great cause."

"No there's not!" the other says. "You're going to create a world with just jujutsu sorcerers!? You know that's impossible!"

"You're so arrogant."

"Huh!?"

"You could do it Satoru, couldn't you? Yet you're trying to convince me it's impossible."

The dark-haired boy turns around and asks.

"Are you the strongest because you're Gojo Satoru? Or are you Gojo Satoru because you're the strongest?"

"What are you saying?"

"If I were to become you, this foolish idea would become more realistic, don't you think?" he continues. "I've decided how I want to live. Now it's just a matter of doing my best to achieve it."

Geto finishes before turning around and starting to walk away. His friend was left there, angry, and was ready to attack him with a curse.

"If you want to kill me, then do it. There would be a reason for that too." Geto says.

But he couldn't. He couldn't bring himself to kill his best friend. His one and only. As his hands dropped to his side and he felt a gush of wind as someone rushed past him. (Y/N).

"Suguru wait! Don't go!" she shouts, chasing after him.

"Thank you, (F/N)." the boy says softly, turning his head and giving her a gentle smile before disappearing into the crowd.

"Please.." the girl whispers, stopping in her tracks as she lost sight of her friend.

Gojo was sitting alone outside on a flight of stairs when he heard the sound of footsteps.

"Why didn't you chase after him?" his teacher asks.

"Do you actually want me to answer that?"

"No, it's fine." he pauses. "My bad."

"Sensei, I'm strong right?" Gojo asks.

"Yes. Very strong,"

"But apparently it's not enough for just me to be strong. Because the only ones I can save, are those ready to be saved by someone else." he says quietly.

After a while, his teacher breaks the silence.

"I'm allowing (Y/N) on more missions." he says. "She still has to continue medical classes and won't go on very dangerous ones because she has a lot of training to do. And barely any experience. But I trust her judgment."

Geto Suguru took over a Star Religious Group organization and changed its name. He had chosen how he wanted to live, it was time for him to make it happen.

"I hate those monkeys." he says with a disgusted tone.
