Okkotsu, Gojo, and (Y/N) were in a hospital hallway while Maki was in a room, resting. She and Yuta had completed their first mission together.

"I'm starting to think Rika didn't curse me after all. And that I'm the one who cursed her."

"You very well might be right." Gojo says, leaning on the wall. "There's no curse more twisted than love."

"Alright. While I'm at Jujutsu High, there's something I want to learn. I want to break Rika's curse." the boy declares.

The two older sorcerers smile at his determination.

"Say, Yuta." (Y/N) suddenly asks. "Rika, was she perhaps often at a hospital?"

"Um yes?" he answers.

"A little girl with dark brow hair." she continues. "And quite cheerful actually."

The dark-haired boy stares at her, surprised.

"(L/N)-san, do you... Know Rika?"

"I think I might have." (Y/N) smiles softly. "I volunteered at a hospital for a while when a friend who worked there said they were short on staff. I'm pretty sure I met a girl called Rika back then."

"Are you the nurse?" Okkotsu starts, recalling a memory. "She'd talk about a really sweet nurse that would spend time with her when she was alone."

"Maybe. I'm not sure." the girl chuckles.

She then faces the boy.

"By the way. I can read your mind."

"Huh!?"

The blindfolded man smiles in amusement at how blunt that was.

"And since you're a student now, you deserve the same privacy as everyone else." she continues, gently putting two fingers on his forehead for a few seconds.

"And now she can't hear your thoughts anymore. Pretty cool huh?" Gojo says as the girl walks back beside him.

"Oh yeah, also. Feel free to call me (F/N)." she smiles at the student.

......

Gojo's pov

"If Rika Orimoto had remained out of control, she could have wiped out an entire town!"

Here it was, another lecture. Even as a teacher, it really wasn't the first time.

"If she had, I would have risked my life to stop her. Listen, now that we've seen it, there's only one thing we can say about that curse. And that's I don't understand. We can't control something we don't understand. So, in the meantime, just leave it alone, it's gonna take some trial and error. See how it works out."

"Do not forget Yuta Okkotsu's execution has only temporarily been suspended."

"And don't you forget, that if it comes down to that decision, I'll side with Yuta Okkotsu." I reply before walking out.

"Damn, those rude geezers." I think to myself, taking off my glasses and putting on a blindfold. "I don't ever want to become like them. I'll have to be careful that I never do. Don't they get it?"

I look down at the schoolyard where the first years were with (Y/N).

"No one should ever be allowed to take youth away from a young person."

......

3rd person pov

Gojo explained the concept of putting Rika's curse in the katanas before sending Okkotsu off to train. A few months later, he was practicing close combat with Maki while the others were watching.

"Congrats, you're dead." the girl with dark green hair says, hitting Okkotsu on the head slightly. "I win again and remain undefeated."

"Was that last part necessary?"

"Don't be so soft. You should always treat training like a real battle. It's by experiencing pain and avoiding pain that makes a huge difference in how fast you grow." she replies. "Seems like you've never trained with (L/N) yet."

"One more please." Okkotsu asks, standing up. "I have to get stronger."

Their training was suddenly interrupted by Panda.

"HEY YUTA! COME OVER HERE!"

"What's up Panda?" the boy says, jogging over.

"We have to have a super important discussion, so listen closely. What do you like better, big or small boobs?"

"HUH??" he replies. "Well to be honest I haven't given it much thought before. I guess given the choice, I like them somewhat big."

"Ohh really?" Panda says before walking to the girl and grinning stupidly. "Maki! You have a shot!"

"What crazy ideas are you having in that head of yours??"

The two broke into a fight.

Gojo then walked over to give Inumaki a mission, asking Okkotsu to go with him. As the two were getting ready to leave, their teacher came over.

"Yuta! One more thing."

"Coming."

"Sorry, but I don't have time to supervise this mission. But this job is typically one Toge can handle by himself. So you can relax." the blindfolded man says. "There's only one thing you should keep in mind. Don't let Rika out. There's no guarantee she'll go back in like last time, so only use the portion of the curse you can control. Do you know what will happen if you let her out again?"

"No, what happens?" the boy asks.

"Bleh." Gojo replies, crossing his hand over his neck. "Both you and me. Oh and (F/N). We'll all be killed. Counting on you!"

The man smiles before walking away, leaving Okkotsu slightly horrified.

......

The two students returned from the mission and were, fortunately, not badly harmed. After she'd heard about the semi-first grade curse that showed up, (Y/N) insisted on checking the spot and Gojo went with her.

They inspected the location quietly, but both of them could feel it. Someone else had been here. Someone they knew.

(A/N): Thank you for reading!

I don't write first-person POVs super often, but there will be more in future chapters.

Anyways, see you and stay safe!
