JUJUTSU HEADQUARTERS NOTICE

1. It has been confirmed that Suguru Geto is still alive. The death penalty is hereby reiterated.

2. Satoru Gojo is listed as a co-conspirator in the Shibuya Incident. He will be permanently expelled from the realm of sorcery. Unsealing him will be considered a criminal act.

3. Masamichi Yaga instigated Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto in the Shibuya Incident and is therefore sentenced to death.

4. The suspended execution of Yuji Itadori is canceled. The execution should be carried out promptly.

5. Special grade sorcerer Yuta Okkotsu will serve as the executioner for Yuji Itadori's death penalty.

......

Megumi had woken up a few minutes before the three older sorcerers heard about the notice and the boy sat quietly as they talked.

"This is ridiculous." (Y/N) said bitterly, before turning to Masamichi. "Principal, you might want to get to somewhere safer?"

"It's surprising that you aren't even mentioned in the notice." Shoko remarked.

"I've told you both multiple times, your reverse curse techniques are valuable tools." Yaga said. "But still, you two shouldn't stay around me."

(Y/N) and Shoko looked at each other.

"Alright." the (H/C)-haired woman replied eventually. "Take care."

"Take care, Principal." Shoko said too.

The man nodded and watched as his two students left with Megumi. He was on his own now and knew he wouldn't be free for long, so he decided to start by going to see someone important to him.

......

"What are you going to do now?"

"Find Yuta and meet up with the other students first." (Y/N) answered. "What about you?"

"Probably head back to school." Shoko said.

"I'll join you there later then."

"Alright. Keep in contact?"

"Yup."

The two friends smiled at each other before walking separate ways. Megumi followed (Y/N), unsure if it'd be better to say something or stay quiet.

"Did you summon Mahoraga?" she suddenly asked.

"How-"

"Did you?" she asked again, cutting him off.

"Yes." he replied, not meeting her gaze.

"Even after that speech Gojo gave you after the Exchange Event? And the forehead flick?"

"If I hadn't, he would have killed me." the boy said. "I was heading towards the injury station, but he came before I could get there and I couldn't lead him to you and Miss Ieri."

Upon hearing that, (Y/N)'s face softened a little.

"What kind of trouble were you in before that?" she asked, her voice gentler.

"I don't know who he was, but he was really strong." Megumi answered. "He didn't have any cursed energy, but he was incredibly fast. He was like a better version of Maki."

Her eyes widened slightly at that. The description he gave was oddly similar to how Gojo had once described none other than Toji Fushiguro, Megumi's biological father.

"Where is he now..?" she asked hesitantly.

"He.. killed himself? After a while of fighting."

"HUH? Did he say anything before that?"

"He asked for my name, I think that was it." the dark-haired boy said, almost making (Y/N) laugh in surprise.

"Well, that confirms it." she thought. "Honestly, what's with dead people reappearing today? First Suguru, then Toji."

Now that the silence had been broken, Megumi asked (Y/N) about the thing that had been bothering him since he'd heard the notice.

"Is Okkotsu senpai actually going to kill Itadori?"

"No, of course not." she replied reassuringly. "It's good to have him as his executioner though, because we know he's on our side."

They eventually met up with Yuki Tsumoko who laid out a plan with (Y/N). After that, she and Fushiguro continued walking, while also talking about the culling game. More importantly, Tsumiki, who had been forced to join.

......

They could hear Okkotsu and Itadori's voices as they got closer. Megumi was about to walk in when (Y/N) stopped him, gesturing for him to stay silent so they could hear the conversation. They listened as Okkotsu explained how he staged Itadori's death, and how the pink-haired boy blamed himself for the death of so many innocent people.

"Go." (Y/N) whispered, giving Megumi a light push. "It's your turn to do your thing."

Although not entirely convinced since he knew he wasn't the best with words, the boy walked in. (Y/N) stayed out of their sight and waited while Fushiguro told them what he knew about the culling game and explained what they had to do next.

"What happened to Kugisaki?"

No response from Megumi. That was her cue.

"Not dead, but not joining you guys yet." (Y/N) answered instead. "I can't promise anything, but don't lose hope."

"(F/N)!" Itadori said in surprise while Okkotsu smiled and waved.

"Welcome back." she smiled back at the older student before turning to the younger. "Yuji, I'm sorry for asking even more of you, but we need you for this. Please, help us with Tsumiki?"

......

Like the others, (Y/N) was briefly introduced to Choso as Itadori's older brother while meeting up with Maki and Yuki who were in a room at Jujutsu High. Soon after, they separated ways. All of them headed to Tengen's while she planned to join Shoko.

"Let me know what he says alright?"

Maki, Okkotsu, Fushiguro, and Itadori all nodded.

"We'll keep you updated." the green-haired girl replied, waving as they walked away.

......

Before heading to her friend's office, (Y/N) quickly flew back to the Shibuya station. After hearing about his death, she felt the need to bring back whatever was left of her lost comrade, Nanami.

"I said see you later, not goodbye." she murmured, staring at the blasted body and blood stains. "Rest well now."
