Meeting Megumi and Tsumiki was one of the best things that had happened to the two sorcerers. Not only had they gotten to know the two kids, but it also made both of them closer. It wasn't just Gojo and (Y/N) taking care of Tsumiki and Megumi. It was all of them, taking care of each other.

......

"Tsumiki? I'm here." (Y/N) calls as she closes the door behind her.

"She went to get groceries." Megumi says, walking out of the spare room they had.

"Oh. She could've just told me what she wanted, I would've bought it before coming."

"She wanted you here as soon as possible." the boy replies. "He's such a handful."

"Huh?"

"Gojo's sick."

"Ohhh. Welp, I'm heading out so-"

"(F/N)-san, please. At least take him with you."

She laughs.

"Aren't you a mean one." the girl says, ruffling his hair. "My little fourth grader."

The boy grumbles slightly before following her to the bedroom he came out of moments ago. (Y/N) walked up to the bed and placed a hand on Gojo's forehead.

"Fever." she whispers to herself.

"Can't you like, heal him or something?" Megumi asks.

"That'd be great, wouldn't it? But no, I can't. For some reason, my technique can prevent someone from having terrible lungs because of smoking, and even regenerate limbs, but can't heal a fever or cold. Nor take away pain." the girl answers. "Stupid huh?"

Gojo groans and slowly sits up.

"Rise and shine Mr. Blindfold." (Y/N) says with a smirk.

"Why are you here?" he asks, his voice hoarse.

"Geez you're pretty sick, aren't you? I'm here to take care of you, what else?" she replies.

"Go away."

"How rude."

"I don't want you here."

"Now I'm actually hurt." the girl says dramatically before sighing. "I'll leave you alone now okay? Get some rest kiddo."

"I'm three years older than you."

"Love you too, byee."

(Y/N) walks out of the room before he could retort.

"You two are so childish." Megumi says, closing the door behind him.

She chuckles.

"I guess we are."

Meanwhile, Gojo was sitting there, unable to understand what exactly he was feeling due to her words.

A while later, Tsumiki came back and the three of them cooked together. (Y/N) then told the two kids to eat and not wait for her before bringing a tray to Gojo's room.

"It's me again." she says, closing the door with her foot.

The girl sets the tray on the nightstand and pulls out a chair from under the study table.

"I know you might not have much appetite, but you need to eat at least a little." she says, softly blowing on a spoonful of hot soup.

"I can do it myself, you don't ha-"

"The bowl's hot. Just eat so you can take your medicine."

The man awkwardly opens his mouth and (Y/N) feeds him, making sure not to spill anything on the bed. After he was does eating, she gives him his medicine and a glass of water.

"Go ahead, take your medicine."

"You're sitting here to watch me?" Gojo questions.

"Yes."

"I knew you wouldn't be able to resist my charms." he says with a smirk before swallowing the pill.

"Glad you're doing better." (Y/N) replies, raising her eyebrows. "Well, get some rest."

She stood up and was about to leave when he suddenly grabbed her wrist.

"Can you stay a little longer?"

"Didn't you say you don't want me here?" the girl teases.

"I didn't mean it." Gojo says, still holding her.

"Okay, sure." (Y/N) sighs before sitting back down. "Only because you're all sick and helpless."

......

"He's violent! That kid hit my son!"

Meeting with a teacher. Again. Because Megumi had gotten into a fight. Again. It had become quite a regular thing since he'd started middle school.

"Please calm down ma'am." the teacher says before turning to (Y/N). "But miss (L/N), Megumi's behavior is indeed unacceptable. Especially for a school."

"I understand. And I apologize on his behalf." the girl says. "Although, from what I've heard, your son is constantly picking on others and is rather violent himself. Does that happen to be the case?"

"How dare you accuse him of such a thing!?" the woman replies angrily. "And do you think that justifies that boy's actions?!"

"No. I don't think so." (Y/N) answers calmly. "But I do think it's quite unfair for you to be complaining and saying such rude things about Megumi while your own son is doing pretty much the same."

The lady huffs and looks into the girl's (E/C) eyes.

"Say, who even are you? You look way too young to be a parent. Or you might just be an utter disgra-"

"That's enough ma'am." the teacher interrupts sternly.

"I'm sorry for all the trouble Megumi has caused and I'll make sure to talk to him." (Y/N) says to the teacher before turning to the parent. "No I'm not his parent, but I happen to be his guardian at the moment and simply want the best for him. I'm sure you understand since you have a son yourself. Although I don't agree with everything you say, I genuinely apologize for any harm Megumi might have caused."

She was about to bow, but a firm hand on her shoulder held her back.

"We'll be taking our leave." the person says before putting his arm around her shoulders and leading her out of the room.

"Gojo what the hell are you doing?!" the girl whispers.

"I'm not letting you throw all your self-respect away like that." he replies.
