Chapter 19: First years

"Sorry for making you guys wait!" (Y/N) calls out, walking towards the two boys, Gojo by her side.

"Oh your uniform made it in time." the latter smiles.

"Yeah, it's great." Itadori says, smiling back. "Though it's slightly different from Fushiguro's. Mine's got a hood."

"That's because the uniforms are customizable upon request." the white-haired man explains.

"Huh? But I never put in any request."

"He's the one who put in the custom order." (Y/N) says.

"Oh. Well cool."

"Be careful. Gojo has a habit of doing that kind of stuff." Fushiguro warns.

"So why are we meeting the new student here?" the (H/C)-haired girl asks.

"Because that's what she asked for." Gojo answers before Itadori runs off to get food, making the others follow behind.

After the first years were introduced to each other, all five sorcerers went to Roppongi. There, Gojo sent Nobara and Itadori to exorcise a curse in an abandoned building. 

"Have funn!" the blindfolded man calls out as they walk out of sight.

While those two were in the building, Fushiguro, Gojo, and (Y/N) were sitting outside, waiting.

"I think I'll go in too." the dark-haired boy says, earning a stern glare from (Y/N).

"Don't push yourself. You're still recovering you know." Gojo replies.

"But someone needs to keep an eye on Itadori right?"

"True. But the one we're testing this time is Nobara. Besides, (F/N) still has him on patrol."

"You didn't block it yet?" Fushiguro asks, turning to her.

"I forgot." the girl sighs. "And I wanted to see whether I could also hear Sukuna, but no luck for me."

He nods.

"That Yuji." the white-haired man says. "Some screws are loose. He doesn't hesitate when killing these things that take the form of living creatures."

"And he doesn't have the familiarity with curses that you have. We're talking about someone who was a normal high school student just a while ago." (Y/N) adds.

"By now, you've seen plenty of jujutsu sorcerers, some talented. And you've seen them give up because they couldn't conquer their fear or disgust right?" Gojo continues. "So today's about seeing if she's crazy enough for this."

"But Kugisaki has experience. So it's a little late for that now." Fushiguro says.

"As we know, curses are born from human minds-" the blindfolded man starts.

"Basically, Tokyo's curses, they're on a completely different level than those in the countryside." (Y/N) explains. "And we're gonna see if Nobara understands that."

"Aw, (F/N) you took my job!" he whines.

She looks at him with raised eyebrows before chuckling.

"By the way Megumi, you sure cause some bad first impressions." the girl suddenly says, an amused smile on her face. "Y'know, the first thing Nobara thought of you was that you were a high-and-mighty type of dude."

This caused Fushiguro to groan and Gojo to burst into laughter.

"Oh yeah also, there's a festival coming up in a few weeks, do you think you'll be free?" the girl asks, looking at her comrade.
