(Y/N)'s POV

Itadori was hit and sent flying back before the building collapsed. Angel and I both quickly flew up while Sukuna was busy paying attention to the other sorcerers around.

"Yuji first." I whispered to myself, landing on the debris to get to him. "She has a better chance of taking on Sukuna than I do."

I healed Itadori as quickly as I could, just enough to make sure he could still fight. Next thing I knew, Angel was getting flung off a building too.

"Yuji's up again. Need to get her to Shoko." I thought, rushing in the direction she'd been thrown at to find her with a missing arm.

"He said he remembered.." Hana said softly, tears in her eyes.

"We'll get him back." I replied, matching her tone while carrying her. "But we need Satoru to come back first."

3rd person POV

After dropping Angel off with Shoko, (Y/N) went back to see if any of them were still there. Upon arrival, she saw both Maki and Itadori, along with a whole lot of ice.

"Where did he go?"

"I don't know." the pink-haired boy answered, gritting his teeth.

"Let's head back." Maki said. "There's no point in staying here."

"Yeah." he agreed.

"Was Sukuna at full power?" (Y/N) asked. "Was he at maximum cursed energy output in Megumi's body?"

"I don't know.." Itadori replied. "I don't think so?"

Hearing that, she clenched her fists.

"We need to find him." she said.

"That'd be stupid." Maki retorted. "We clearly can't win, so we'd be asking to get killed. I know he's important to you, but that's not Megumi right now it's Suku-"

"Tsumiki is going to die." (Y/N) responded with the calmest tone she could muster as her heart rate picked up. "He's going to make Megumi kill her."

The two students' eyes went wide.

"How are you so sure?" the green-haired girl asked.

"It's probably the quickest way to break him." she replied in a strained voice. "You're right though, we should head back."

"We'll come back." Itadori said, sensing her hesitation. "We'll get Gojo sensei back and we'll save Fushiguro."

......

Gojo's POV

"Now it's just us, huh?"

"There's also (F/N). Want me to go get her?" Shoko said, a cigarette in her mouth.

I shook my head.

"I'll see her once she's ready." I replied.

"She probably is ready." Shoko remarked, raising an eyebrow. "Probably just lost track of time while obsessively reading."

"Huh? Why?"

"That's our secret." she answered with a hint of a smirk.

......

3rd person POV

(Y/N) was listening as the students debated what they should say to Gojo before he went to fight Sukuna until the sound of footsteps cut them off. They all looked towards the stairs from which he appeared, a tense silence settling in.

"Sensei, your cursed technique's in the way!" Itadori said.

Gojo laughed and instantly, the mood seemed to lighten. He walked through the crowd of his fellow sorcerers patting his back and shouting in encouragement, stopping in front of (Y/N) who pulled him into a hug.

"Please save him." she whispered.

"I know." he whispered back. "Please save Kugisaki."

He felt her nod against his chest before they broke apart, meeting each other's eyes.

"Have as much fun as you want, but come back to me. Got it?"

"Yes ma'am." the white-haired man replied, smiling.

"I love you Satoru." she said, smiling back at him. "So very much."

To her surprise, he put a hand on the back of her head and the other on her waist, pulling her into a gentle kiss. Everyone around gasped and cheered. Although the kiss didn't last long, none of the noise existed at that moment. It was just the two of them.

"I love you too (F/N)." Gojo said, pressing his forehead against hers. "Forever."

"See you later?"

"See you later." he grinned that boyish grin of his. "I've got this!"

......

After Gojo went off to fight, (Y/N) went back to the books. As much as she wanted to see him, she knew her priority was Nobara.

"Are you okay?"

She turned to see Shoko and smiled.

"Yeah, why?" she replied.

"I'm only asking because I heard you cry." her friend said, sitting down beside her.

"I never got to say goodbye to Tsumiki." the (H/C)-haired woman answered softly after a few seconds of silence. "She was still a kid, Shoko. A sweet, kind girl, and now she's gone."

"It's cruel."

"It is! I just wish that I could've at least talked to her. The actual her." she said. "And Megumi must be hurting so much, he's just a kid too.."

The two of them went quiet.

"Have you found anything?" Shoko eventually asked, gesturing at the pile of books.

"Not yet." (Y/N) answered, letting out a sigh. "I've gotten through about half of them. There's been theories here and there, but nothing concrete enough to try."

The long-haired sorcerer nodded, picking one up.

"Two is faster than one." she said, turning to the first page.

"Definitely."
