[TAEHYUNG'S POV]
When I woke up, I found myself dozing off in my office. I was so tired that I quickly rushed home to rest.
Driving home, I made a call to my dearest.
"Tae? Why are you calling? It's 12am. Is something wrong?" At last, i heard her voice that I've been longing to hear for the whole day.
"No, I just haven't heard your voice today. Did I wake you up?" I asked.
"Kind of... I was waiting for your call. I just had the busiest day in the hospital, and all I needed was to listen to you to relax..."
"Why didn't you call me earlier? Are you overworking yourself?" she asked, "I must've fallen asleep. I'm on the way home now. Do you want me to come over?"
"No need! I mean, I'm fine on my own now. Besides, you forgot? I told you oppa is staying over while his house is under renovation."
"Ah, right. Have you eaten?"
"Of course. My senior was in such a good mood to treat everyone to some macarons! Aish, I wonder where he bought it from..."
"Macarons? Why? Do you want some?"
"I would love some right now... It's late already. Drive safe, hmm? I love you!"
"Mmm... I love you too. Sleep well!" I hung up, smiling at how she never leaves out any detail on her days at work.
[HOME]
I walked into the quiet house, going up to my room.
Then, I decided to wash up and sleep. After u came out, Sua barged into my room wearing a revealing nightgown.
"Tae..." She called out, "What do you want now?" I asked her in annoyance.
"We've been married for a while now... Don't you think it's time?" she touched my arm seductively. "Whatever you're doing, stop."
"Why? I'm your wife. Emeoni really wants a grandchild." she smirked, "So what?"
"Don't you think we should fulfil her wishes? I want you, and you obviously want me."
"Get out. I just had a long day in the office. " I pointed at the door, indicating for her to leave.
She left my room, feeling defeated.
I checked my phone just to see a sweet message.
Angel 💍: "Have a good night's rest, remember not to skip your meals tomorrow! Love you! ❤️ "
Me: "Love you too. ❣️"
It was our habit to send daily loving messages to each other. That way, we always know we're on each other's minds 24/7.
Every day, I wake up, just to be overly romantic to this woman.
[MORNING]
[Y/N'S POV]
"Omo, oppa! You are cooking today! Wow, I'm surprised you even woke up..." My elder brother, none other that Min Yoongi himself, the sleep lover.
"Be grateful that i woke up early. I just wanted to cook breakfast to show how thankful I am to have a little sister like you to let me stay here."
"Aish... You are always welcome here! Thanks for the breakfast, oppa!"
[HOSPITAL]
"What's the patient's condition?" I asked while reading the paper on the clip board.
"He's been recovering well ever since the surgery you performed on him..." My junior partner, Yoora, informed me.
"Mr Jang? How are you doing? Do you feel pain anywhere ever since the surgery?"
"I'm doing my best now. I'm so thankful for having an amazing doctor like you. Really, thank you so much."
"I'm glad you're feeling better. If there's anything, feel free to inform any of us!"
After doing my daily checkups on my patients, I checked my phone.
Mr Kim 💍: "Good morning, babe... Have a great day at work! 💞"
Me: " Morning!! Hope you're well rested! Make sure you don't call me late again... 💌"
I smiled at his text. His single message can make me fall for him harder.
[TAEHYUNG'S POV]
Me: "Yes ma'am, I'll make sure I call you earlier today..."
"Why are you smiling at your phone?" Sua interrupted. "Nothing."
"I have something to ask you."
"What."
"Why didn't you want to make love with me?" she asked me, "Do you even love me?"
"I gotta go, I'm running late for work."
I avoided her question and immediately left for the office. The only person I will allow to touch me is none other than Min Y/n.
