It had been a month since I gave birth to my angel girl and I couldn't have asked for more.
My loving husband was by my side, caring for me and doing everything I asked. It was a magical month being parents.
Sure we had sleepless nights, but we knew it was worth it. Eunji didn't trouble as much as I thought she would and I'm thankful for having a baby like her.
As I woke up to no one beside me, I thought Taehyung had already gone to work. Getting up and freshening up, all that came to my mind was to see my darling girl in her nursery.
Eunji was indeed a perfect mix of Taehyung and me. Some say she looks like me and some say like her dad.
I opened the door just to see her looking at me with her beautiful eyes. She showed her smile, happy to see me. "Good morning, baby!"
"How did you sleep? I'm guessing you slept very well because you have a mark on your face!" I carried her, pecking her face.
"Come on, let's feed you your milk!" I carried her downstairs, walking to the kitchen. But, my dear hubby was making waffles!
"Good morning, my loves." He greeted. "Good morning! I thought you had gone to work!"
"I took a day off for my girls," he said. "It smells good, babe. Even Eunji wants some." She was trying to grab the waffles but I stopped her.
"You can't have it now but, when you're older I promise to make you all the waffles you want!" Taehyung spoke to her.
I sat in the dining room, waiting for my food made by my husband. "Breakfast for my gorgeous lady." He served the waffles, made with lots of his love. Fruits on the side, making it even more delicious.
"Come to appa," He carried Eunji and fed her the milk. "What about you?"
"I already ate."
Just like that, we always found a way to share and split the duties as parents. Trying to be the best parents that we can to our daughter.
As time flew by, we were getting ready for Eunji's 1-month party. We invited close friends and family.
I changed her pajamas with a cute dress. "Your grandfather would've loved to carry you. Let's go to your party, my princess."
People started to arrive, being the first person was Rose.
"Where's the star of the show?" She exclaimed as she loved babies very much. "She's here." Taehyung passed Eunji to Rose.
"Happy 1 month! Oh my goodness, she's adorable!" The baby stared at her auntie clueless of what was happening.
That day, we celebrated the 1 month of having her. My father would've been so proud and happy.
