You woke up to the sound of your kids fighting downstairs. You squint your eyes closed as you bury your face into your husband. He responds with a warm kiss on the side of your head.
"I'll go" he says as he stroked your cheek. "get some sleep, you work so hard for our kids" Jude said as he placed another kiss on your head.
"Thank you baby, I love you." You say back putting a smile on his face.
Jude put some clothes on and disappeared out of your bedroom.
You fall back to sleep in a matter of seconds because Jude was right, you absolutely worked so hard to be the best mother your could to your three kids.
Your eldest child's name was Jasmin. She had just turned 15 and is growing so fast. Your second oldest child's name was Jaylan, he was 13, Jasmin and Jaylan were at the age where they were always fighting. Your last child was 4 years old his name was Jacob. He was the baby of the family and the sweetest baby ever.
Once you were comfortably fast asleep, you were woken up again to the sound of more shouting. You couldn't make out what was being said but you thought it was probably time for you to intervene.
You got up and washed, placed one of Jude's T-shirts on and a pair of leggings and made your way down the stairs.
"What's going on guys" you as as you see them all in the kitchen.
"See, now you've woken up your mum and I told you to keep your voices down." Jude says to the kids as he pulls you into a hug. "I'm sorry, I really wanted you to get some more sleep." Jude says softly to you.
"It's ok, I'm sure everyone's hungry, and seeing as no one cooks for themselves in this house I guess I had to get up." You said the last part a little louder so the kids could hear earning a chuckle from Jude.
"What's going on anyway" you ask as you begin making breakfast.
Both Jasmin and Jaylan start yelling again and at the same time.
"Uh! One at a time please." You say reminding them of their manners.
"Mum it's not fair, Jaylan keeps touching my stuff he's always coming into my room and he tried to take my phone and everything." Jasmin spits out quickly.
"Jaylan, is that true?" You question as you hand Jude a cup of coffee and give him a kiss on the cheek.
"It's only true because I heard her talking to her boyfriend so I wanted to see who it was."
"Her what" Jude says as he chokes on his coffee.
"Ugh your such a snitch Jaylan, and he's not my boyfriend." Jasmin says rolling her eyes.
"Then who is he" you ask as you wiggle your eyebrows.
"Uh no none of that." Jude says with a furrowed brow causing you to laugh.
"Who is this guy then." Jude asks your daughter.
"He's just a friend." She says with an attitude.
"What friend, I don't know this friend." Jude says facing your daughter.
"Dad, stop it." She says getting annoyed.
"He's not your friend, I heard you say you love him." Jaylan says with a laugh.
"You're so dead." Jasmin says as she gets up and starts chasing Jaylan, he runs behind you, using you as a human shield. Jude gets up and stands in front of Jasmin to stop the two from fighting.
