"Babe just close your eyes." Jude said as he drove nearer to your destination.
"Jude how can I close my eyes while we're in the car that's so weird." You said looking at him funny.
"Just do it sweetheart, please." Jude said, you could see the excitement on his face so you obliged.
"Fineeee, but I hope we're almost there I don't want to be sick." You said with your eyes closed, you heard Jude chuckle as he squeezed your hand slightly.
"We are babe, promise." Jude said as he continued to drive for a few more minutes.
"Can I open them?" You said as you felt the car come to a stop.
"Yep" Jude said as your eyes flew open, you looked out the window and saw the massive sign in the classic letters.
"Disneyland?!" You screeched questioningly, a huge smile plastered on Jude's face as he saw the excitement on yours.
"Yeah, happy birthday." Jude said as he leant in and kissed you on the lips softly.
"Aww baby, you remembered, that's so sweet." You said smiling with happiness.
"Yeah, I know there's still a few days but there are too many things to fit in just one day." Jude said as he kissed your lips softly again.
"Aww baby I'm so excited you're the best boyfriend ever." You said with your hands on your cheek feeling the ache from smiling too hard.
"Come on babe let's go." Jude said as he got out of the car, he wrapped his arm around you as you made your way towards the entrance.
"What do you want to do first?" Jude asked as he watched you take in your surroundings.
"I want a hot chocolate then I want a picture with princess Tiana and then I want to go on the big wheel thing like in the movies." You blurted out quickly as you clung to your boyfriend excitedly.
"You are like a kid in a candy store aren't you." Jude said as he pulled you against his chest.
"Yep" you smiled up at him as he leant down and placed a gentle and loving kiss to your lips.
"Come on baby let's get you that hot chocolate." Jude said as you continued to walk through the amusement park.
You found a large stand that sold hot drinks and churros, you and Jude lined up and waited for your turn to place your order.
When you finished you left with two hot chocolates and a large portion of churros with chocolate and caramel sauce.
"These smell amazing." Jude said as he inhaled deeply, bringing the bag up to his face.
"They really do" you said taking one out of the bag and dipping it in the caramel sauce.
"Look at me breaking my diet for you." Jude said as he did the same.
"Thank youu" you laughed as you cheersed the churros and took a large bite.
"Oh my god." You said with your mouth full
"That is so good." Jude said going in for another bite.
"Now try the hot chocolate." You said taking a sip of the hot beverage.
"Oh my days literally best hot chocolate I've ever had." You said rolling your eyes in satisfaction.
"You're so dramatic." Jude laughed pecking your lips quickly as you continued to walk around.
"Maybe we should have got the churros after the rides because I don't feel so great." You said clutching your belly with a chuckle.
"Im just following your lead" Jude said holding his hands up deflecting the blame from himself.
"Yeah but you know I'm not trustworthy when it comes to sugar." You said as Jude pulled you in tighter and laughed at you.
"Why don't we do the wheel thing, it's right there and it's slow, and hopefully we will digest the food by the time we finish." Jude suggested.
"Yeah that's a good idea let's go." You said as you made your way to the ride.
You both sat down next to each other and sat close together to keep each other warm. Jude's arms were wrapped around you while you both looked out at the distance, looking at the whole park.
"This place is so magical, thank you for doing this baby, I know how busy you are, I really appreciate it." You said snuggling further into Jude's chest.
"Nothing makes me happier, than making you happy, I'm so glad you're having a good time." Jude said as he lifted your chin up to place a passionate and intimate kiss against your lips while his thumb stroked against your jaw.
"I love you." You whispered as you pulled back slightly
"I love you more." Jude said as he pulled you back in for another romantic kiss. "I also wanted to give you something baby, little early gift." He said while your faces where still inches apart.
A smile grew across your lips as Jude searched through his pocket and pulled out a red Cartier ring box. He opened it with one hand showing you the contents to which your jaw dropped in amazement.
"It's a promise ring, I want you to wear it and know that I will replace it with an engagement ring one day. If you want that of course, no pressure." Jude said softly as he waited for your response.
"Jude" was all you managed to say before feeling flustered all over again. "Baby, that is so kind. Thank you so much, of course I want to baby, I just can't believe how amazing you are. And I can't believe how beautiful this ring is." You said as you looked back at the ring.
Jude took it out of the box and slipped it onto your finger. He smiled as he stared at your hand with the ring on and rubbed your ring finger with his thumb.
"Can't wait to give you the real deal one day." Jude smiled as he kissed against your hand then against your lips.
"If this is the promise ring then I don't even know what the engagement ring will be like." You said still overwhelmed by the situation.
Jude smiled again and pulled your face into his where he kissed your with so much passion and love it made your heart feel like it was going to beat out of your chest.
