"You nervous?" Micah asked as he chuckled at your stiff and awkward demeanour.
"That obvious?" You laughed a little trying to calm yourself down.
"Very obvious, but you'll be fine, you've done this before." Micah said reassuringly as he patted your back while you both watched onto the pitch as the game approached its end.
"Yeah but never for Real Madrid, this is serious, it's the big leagues." You said as you wrapped your arms around yourself to keep warm.
"Yeah but you've interviewed most footballers, you've worked for sky sports, bein spots, Fox News, bbc sports and cbs spots, you've basically done it all." Micah laughed.
"You're right, I've got to snap out of it." You said smiling up at him.
"Well you better do that quick then." Micah said as the whistle sounded through the stadium signalling the end of the game and your cue to get into position and wait for your bosses to send players over to you.
You stood awkwardly looking around clutching onto your mic waiting to see who you would be interviewing.
You saw a familiar and friendly face approach you with a large smile.
"Hi y/n, how are you, been a minute hasn't it." Jude said as he engulfed you into a warm hug.
You had interviewed Jude twice before during the World Cup so you were acquainted with each other "Sorry, I probably stink." Jude laughed as he stood back so he was in frame for the camera.
"I'm good, how are you?" You chuckled as you smiled up at him.
"Yeah not bad, just glad I can do this interview in English." Jude laughed
You chuckled along with him, about to respond when the camera man interrupted.
"Uh live in three seconds y/n" he said quickly not to waste any more time.
"Thank you" you said adjusting your positing and bring the mic up to your mouth.
"Welcome back everybody you are tuning into Sky sports and we are here at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium with none other than the goal scorer and match winner himself, Jude Bellingham." You said as Jude's smile grew as he looked at you while you spoke to the camera.
"Hi everyone, thank you for having me y/n." Jude said smiling sweetly
"It's my pleasure, congratulations on the hat-trick today Jude, you just keep adding to that tally of yous." You chuckled lightly as you moved the mic to Jude's mouth as he began to talk.
"Yeah it was a good game, really enjoyed it, and of course really happy to have contributed as well." Jude nodded and smiled.
"I mean it's been an amazing run, Real Madrid looking untouchable at the moment, how important do you think it is to keep that momentum going with the way the league is looking at the moment?"
"Yeah I mean, it's really important, we've always got to keep our foot on the gas and make sure we're giving our all every week, little mistakes are punished in this league and we've got to make sure that doesn't happen and we stay consistent."
"Absolutely, and the support today has been incredible as always, did you expect this sort of welcome when you signed this season?" You asked as you moved the mic towards Jude again.
"Honestly, nothing could have prepared me, I didn't expect this even slightly, the supporters are incredible, they come in their thousands every week, I'm so grateful for the welcome I've received since joining the club, truly an amazing fan base." Jude smiled as he finished his sentence.
"Lastly, you're still wearing your shoulder brace, how is that going?"
"Yeah it's much better, I'm looking after it, I'm doing everything I can right now to make sure that I stay fit and healthy and ready for every game."
"Perfect, thank you so much for your time Jude and congratulations again."
"Thank you, take care of yourself y/n" Jude said as he quickly pulled you into a hug as he began walking away.
"And offline, good job y/n" the camera man said as he dropped the camera.
"Thanks" you said exhaling loudly
"Y/n" Jude called making you turn back around
"Yeah" you said as you turned
"What's your number, we need to catch up." Jude said with his hand over his mouth to avoid anyone lip reading what he said.
"How do I give it to you without it being on every tabloid in the morning." You chuckled as you looked up at him.
"Good point, come with me" Jude said as you followed him into the tunnels and into a small room. "No cameras in here" Jude said pulling his phone out of his pocket and handing it to you.
You smiled as you began typing your name and number into his phone.
"Alright, I'll text you tonight, take care of yourself y/n, get home safe" he said pulling you into a final hug.
"You too Jude, bye." You smiled as you both parted ways.

You crawled into bed and snuggled into your warm duvet when you heard your phone on your bedside table begin to buzz
"Hey y/n, it's Jude" you read as you picked up your phone, you quickly saved his number and opened the message.
