A wave of sickness hit Jude in the middle of the night, he woke up to the feeling of nausea causing him to rush out of bed and throw up over the toilet.
His head became heavy and a sweat settled on his brow, it was strange because it came from nowhere and hit him hard.
He went back to bed after trying his best to wash after throwing up, he laid back down in bed and all he could hear was white noise, Jude clutched his blankets as he shut his eyes trying to fall asleep hoping that the rest would give him a little bit of energy to fight this virus.
Jude tossed and turned all night, sleeping for a few minutes at a time and being woken up by the overwhelming feeling of sickness.
The morning rolled over and Jude had finally drifted off to sleep, Denise walked through his bedroom door to wake him up for training and she noticed he was still asleep.
"Jude, is it really still my job to wake you up in the morning, get up!" Denise said with annoyance in her voice. Jude's eyes slowly opened due to the sound coming from his angry looking mum.
"Can't go." Jude barely managed to say as he tried to re close his eyes.
"Why not" Denise asked a little bit calmer as she heard the weakness in Jude's voice.
"Feel like I'm gonna die." Jude said with his eyes closed, Denise took a few steps closer and she noticed the sweat on his face.
"Oh Jude, you really don't look good. Did you get any sleep?" She asked as she frowned with sympathy.
"Not really." Jude said as he opened his eyes, he weakly stood up and rushed to the bathroom, he hung his head over the toilet and threw up again.
Denise stood in the room confused as to how Jude had gotten sick as he slowly walked back into the room finding his bed.
"Ok darling, you get some rest, do you need me to get you anything?" Denise asked as she walked towards the door.
"Yes please, call y/n" Jude said as he wrapped himself in his blanket.
"Jude, are you sure you don't want to get some sleep or have some medicine or something, you don't want her coming here and getting sick." Denise said disapprovingly.
"No, please, just call y/n" Jude said closing his eyes again.
"Jude you should just get some rest maybe you can see y/n tomorrow when you're feeling a bit better." She said trying to convince him.
"Mum, please, I need her, please call her." Jude said the desperation was clear in his voice, he was too weak to keep arguing with her.
"Ok, I will." Denise said as she left the room walking downstairs and picked up her phone from the counter.
She searched for your name and placed the call.
"Morning y/n, how are you?" Denise chirped.
"Morning D, I'm good thanks, how are you?" You said with a happy voice.
"I'm good thank you sweetheart, have you spoken to Jude today?" She asked
"Um, no not today, I just thought he was running late for training, why? Is everything ok?" You asked as your chuckle fades slightly.
"Um, I think everything is ok, but Jude isn't feeling great and he's asking for you, is there anyway you can come over?" Denise asked you.
"Of course I can, I'm leaving now, is he ok?" You asked worriedly as you hurriedly put your shoes on.
"I'm sure he will be fine in a few days but he's not looking good right now." Denise said reluctantly trying not to make you worry.
"Ok I'm coming, shall I bring anything?" You asked full of worry.
