You prepared your children's favourite breakfast as you all had a nice family conversation.
You let your hair down as the the batter was now made so there was no risk of getting hair into the food.
"Mum, you look really pretty." Jaylan said out of the blue as you were flipping pancakes.
"She really does, doesn't she." Jude said as he stared at you with glowing eyes.
"What are you talking about, I'm sleep deprived and I got ready in five minutes this morning." You said laughing in response.
"No, you always look beautiful." Jude said as he stood up from his seat and pulled you into his arms hugging you tightly with a large smile on his face.
"Thank you baby, and I love you so much but the pancakes are going to burn." You say trying to get out of Jude's grasp. He laughed and placed a kiss on your head letting go of you.
You returned to the stove and Jude attached himself to you from the back, he wrapped his arms around you scattering kisses over your shoulder, neck and cheek.
"You guys need to get a grip and act like normal parents." Jasmine said as she made a disgusted face looking away from you and Jude.
"Does this bother you?" Jude questioned jokingly as he placed exaggerated kisses all over you making loud and obnoxious noises as he did so.
You laughed at how childish Jude could be and at your daughters reaction, she placed her fingers in her ears and closed her eyes tight.
Jude let go of you placing a final soft peck on your lips as he sat back down on his seat. You finished up with the pancakes and served them up in plates, the kids began eating and thanked you for the breakfast.
You sat next to Jude as you placed your head to his shoulder as you sipped your coffee.
"Eat please darling." Jude said said as he noticed you didn't touch your plate.
"I will, I'm just comfortable here right now." You say as you close your eyes. Your eyes fly open as you feel Jude place a forkful of pancake against your lips, you laughed at him and opened your mouth, he fed you a few more bites before you sat up and continued to feed yourself.
"So guys" Jude announced loudly to everyone, "who wants to see grandma D today." Jude continues as he flashes you a knowing smile.
"Yay, I love grandma D." Jacob says clapping.
"I know you're trying to get rid of us." Jasmine said as she glared back at you both.
"Come on sweetheart, that's not true." You said back to her.
"Yeah it is true." Jaylan says agreeing with his sister.
"I just think it'll be nice for you to spend some time with your grandma, and I also think it'll be nice for me to spend some time with my wife." Jude says as he pulled you into him.
"See, I knew it." Jasmine said as she shook her head disapprovingly. Jude stood up chuckling slightly, he gathered the plates and began to clear up.
"Ok everyone get ready to go, we will leave in 15!" You say as the kids go and get ready, you helped Jude finish up cleaning and you both went up to get ready to leave.
Jude opened the front door and unlocked the car, "everyone in." Jude said as he got into the drivers seat. Everyone followed into the car and you drove up to Denise's house.
You pulled into the driveway and rang the bell, she opened the door with an enormous smile as she pulled in the kids for a massive group hug.
"My babies, My darling beautiful babies." She said as she squeezed them tightly. "I've missed you so much." She said not letting go of the hug.
