Chapter 4 - Mai's Strength

Mai 's POV

After we got out from the boat, we proceed to walk. We're almost there. To Tazuna's house.

Naruto start throwing kunai everywhere. I chuckle, he's trying to show off in front of Sasuke.

Naruto throw another Kunai and hit something. Kakashi and I went near there and saw a white rabbit.

'A white rabbit...huh? Yare yare, kids nowadays' I thought.

A big sword was thrown towards us.

"Duck!!" Kakashi shouted.

I took out my steel fan and block it. The force blow my black hair back.

"Mai!!" Kakashi shouted. I throw the sword, it pierce throught the tree across me. Someone jump out and stood on the sword.

"Ho? Momochi Zabuza, Kirigakure rogue ninja" Kakashi said.

Naruto ran ahead, charging at him. I held him back.

"Stop, Naruto. This is not someone you can handle yet" I said.

"If it comes to this, then I have to use this" Kakashi said, lifting his headband.

My eyes widen.

"Kakashi of the sharingan, you're here...." Zabuza, as Kakashi called him said.

'Sharingan... why does Kakashi have a sharingan... and only on one side... did he steal it?' I thought.

"Cant you just give the old man?" Zabuza said.

"Form the formation! Do not whatsoever interupt this battle. Protect Tazuna! This is the time to use teamwork that I taught you!" Kakashi said.

They did as told immediately.

"Mai...can you..." Kakashi said, not taking his eyes of this Zabuza guy.

"I know, I'll protect them for you" I said.

"Thank you" Kakashi said.

"Zabuza...you...attack me first" Kakashi said.

"haha!! I get to see the sharingan. I'm glad..." Zabuza said, grinning.

I stood calmly in front of the genins and Tazuna.

"What is that Sharingan he keeps on talking about?!!" Naruto yelled out.

Sasuke explain about it....Of course he did...But thats not all.

"Thats right kid, But you've only touch the surface--"

"Sharingan can also copy, and see everything clearly" I cut Zabuza off.

He look at me.

"And who might you be?" Zabuza ask.

"No one of importance..." I said.

"Ha! I bet! No one can be as famous as you, Hatake Kakashi. In my bingo book back when I was still in Kiri, it has info on you.The man who copies thousand jutsus. Kakashi of the Sharingan, they call you" Zabuza said.

Kakashi glared at him. I saw Sasuke looking suspiciously at Kakashi.

"Sorry 'bout that, Enough talk, I need to kill the old man" Zabuza said.

Kakashi stood in front of me.

"But it seems I need to kill you first" Zabuza said.

Zabuza disappeared and mist started forming. Looks like he used the jutsu...

"8 parts"

I heard Zabuza said.

"W-what that?" Sakura said.
