Chapter 7 - Battle at the Bridge

Mai's POV

The boys' training is finally over. So now we're going to the bridge with Tazuna. Well, except for Naruto. He seems to be too exausted and slept in.

"We'll leave Naruto to you. Please take care of him" I said to Tsunami.

"Of course, Take care there" She said.

We nod and we head there. The moment we reach, there's alot of bodies on the ground.

"What happen here?!" Tazuna exclaim.

"Dont worry, they're not dead. Just passed out..." I said, checking one of them.

Suddenly mist start forming.

"Sensei!" Sakura called.

I nod.

"Minna quick, gather around Tazuna-san!" Kakashi said.

The four of us stood around Tazuna.

We heard a laugh.

"Looks like you're here, and you still got the brats with you" Zabuza appeared in front of us.

Together with that mask nin.

"ha! And look, the kid's still shaking" He said.

I look at Sasuke as he suddenly smirk.

"I'm shaking with....Excitement" He said.

"Go, Sasuke" Kakashi said.

Sasuke imediately kill all Zabuza's water clone that's been surrounding all of us.

"Hm, looks like you have your opponent" Zabuza said to the one beside him.

"It seems like it" He said.

"Looks like what I thought was right. The mask boy is your comrade after all" Kakashi said.

"Anyways, whats done, is done... looks like we'll have to fight again" I said.

"You, Yes you....I still dont know who you are...You seem very strong" Zabuza said to me.

"I'm just a normal jounin Sensei" I said.

"Heh...thats what you said, but you're so strong..." Zabuza imediately dash towards me with his sword.

I block it with a kunai that Kakashi gave me. Kakashi brought Sakura and Tazuna further and came back beside me.

I agreed with Kakashi that I'll be his back up while he attack... Well he insist on it so much.

I sigh.

Kakashi's been much more protective after that time where I kiss him...and we kinda get to know each other better...

As Sasuke fight off the boy, Haku. I used my time manipulation jutsu to stop Zabuza's attack so that Kakashi would attack easier.

"Argh!! Damn you woman! That whatever jutsu you're using is so annoying!!" Zabuza yelled.

I suddenly realise a sudden low temperature and a rise of chakra from Sasuke's place.

I look behind to see him surrounded by mirrors.

"Looks like Haku decide to get serious" Zabuza said.

"Kakashi...That boy is strong...I dont know if Sasuke can handle it himself" I said.

I saw lots of senbon thrown to Sasuke. He manage to dodge and block all of it.

My eyes widen.

"K-Kakashi...Sasuke finally...." I still look at Sasuke.

"What is it? I cant see...Kinda busy right now" He said, dodging Zabuza's sword.
