Chapter 29 - Saving One's Life

Third Person's POV

The red head Uzumaki was strolling around the streets when she suddenly sense something.

'They're coming... closer. The chakra's strong too... and lots of them... There's also a non human chakra... dog? They were following us by smell? Is it the Akatsuki or the Konoha Ninjas?' She thought.

She ran to where her hideout is and barged in.

"Sasuke, wake up!! There's enemies!!" She said.

Sasuke look at her.

"Everyone... get ready to run. Juugo, mark all the Akatsuki's hideout in the map" Sasuke ordered.

He stood up and got ready.

"How are you feeling?" Suigetsu ask.

"I absorbed Orochimaru's power, I can heal fast" Sasuke said.

"It seems they use the sense of smell to get here. Juugo I need your help" Karin said.

"What is it?"

"I'll be using Sasuke's old clothes to trap them" Karin said.

"Why the hell do you have Sasuke's old clothes?" Suigetsu ask.

"Thats non of your business, idiot!!!" Karin said, blushing.

"A-Anyways, using Sasuke's old clothes, we can shred them off and use Juugo's animals to spread them" Karin said.

"I see... so that it will confuse them" Juugo said.

Karin nod.

Going back to where the Konoha team was, Kiba suddenly realise that Sasuke's scent has gone to many separate places.

"Shit, his scent! It's spreading everywhere!!" Kiba said.

"It seems he knows our plan"  Kakashi said.

"How?" Sakura said.

"Probably one of them is a sensory type. A really good sensory type ninja" Mai said.

"We can't control things from here with radio signal. And it's only Mai-sensei and I can smell that Sasuke. What are we gonna do now?!" Kiba said.

Mai sigh.

Naruto closed his eyes for a moment. A look of distress on his face.

He opened his eyes and did kagebunshins.

"Then we have to find him everywhere" He said.

Mai and Kakashi look at each other and nod.

"Right! Naruto, your Kagebunshins will be looking all around. Everyone! You too! Find Sasuke and report back, don't go in the battle alone!!" Kakashi said.

"Right!!"

Everyone disperse too their own assigned direction.

All except Mai and Kakashi

"Kakashi... the time is near..." Mai said.

Kakashi look at her in confuse.

"What is?" He ask.

"The battle between the brothers" she said, sadness written on her face.

Kakashi couldn't say anything. He couldn't promise anything...

They both search for any sign of the Uchiha brothers... as much as possible.

"Kakashi!!"

Kakashi came to a hault and look at his wife.
