Chapter 26 - More Questions

Third Person's POV

"Found them..."

"Good, Let's go..."

"Right"

"Careful everyone..."

Mai, Kakashi, Asuma and Shikamaru went on the mission to search the two Akatsuki members that they have encountered before. Lead by Mai herself, they track down the Akatsuki members and finally found them.

"I knew you would find us"

"Who are you? What is your name?" Mai started.

"I suppose you wouldn't actually know me. But I almost kill you" the mask man chuckle darkly.

Mai narrow her eyes at him.

"Oi, Kakuzu, let's just kill the crap out of this people already!!" Hidan said.

"Not now, Hidan..." Kakuzu ignored him.

"What the Fu---"

"When exactly did that happen?" Mai ask, cutting Hidan off.

"Bitch--"

"Decades ago I suppose. Let me enlighten you, it was the time where Suzuki Mai were declare dead. And also because of that, many people seek for your body. Since you are the last of your clan" Kakuzu said.

"And you were one of those people" Mai said.

"No, instead I was sent to kill the first Hokage, Hashirama Senju. I infiltrate the place, and I found you instead, sleeping, hidden away from everyone. Although unfortunately, I was found by The First himself. We fought... and I lost. I have fail my mission" Kakuzu said.

"I see... You were going to take me instead, after you lost to Hashirama. But you fail too. You were treated as a failure in your village, am I correct? " Mai said. 

"You seem to sum everything up quite well" Kakuzu said.

"You broke from prison and kill the one who imprison you. I understand now." Mai said.

She close her eyes and inhale slowly.

"Asuma, Shikamaru. You take the man with the Scythe. Kakashi and I will handle the mask man. Do it has planned, Asuma, Shikamaru" Mai said.

The two nod.

Everyone took their stance.

"I see it has come to this" Kakuzu said.

"I'm sorry it has to be like this... but you wouldn't listen no matter what I said... So the best way is this..." Mai said.

 Their first plan was to separate the two guys. As they finally manage to separate them, the fight finally begin.

"why are you holding back so much?" Kakuzu ask.

"You have never see me fight, how would you know how strong I am?" Mai said.

"There's no way you're not as strong as The first Hokage and even Madara. Even if you are the weakest among them" Kakuzu mocked her.

Mai glared at him.

"Kakashi"

"Right"  

Mai gave Kakashi a signal and he went and hide.

Mai dashed towards him with her steel fan and they fought. Mai continuously aimed for his heart but he dodge it skillfully.

"You're really not as strong as I think you would be" Kakuzu continue mocking her.
