Chapter 12 - Continuation...

Mai's POV

I kept on watching Naruto's match with Kiba.

Naruto manage to take down Akamaru.

So now, only Kiba and him. Naruto said that he have a new jutsu.

But while Naruto was concentrating, Kiba dashed towards Naruto but Naruto farted and Kiba just sniff it.

That concluded with Naruto's win because Kiba cant fight anymore.

"Because the Inuzuka clan's smelling sense is 10 times stronger than normal human, so the effect's 10 times worse..." Kakashi sweatdrop.

I just chuckled.

Naruto came up with a pout, not satisfied with his match.

Hinata-chan approached Naruto and gave him a healing cream.

I smiled, she's such a sweetheart.

"Good job, Naruto" I said.

"Cheh... I didn't get to even show off my jutsu..." Naruto said.

I chuckled again.

The next match showed up.

Hyuuga Neji vs Hyuuga Hinata.

I look at hinata as she start becoming nervous.

"Hinata-chan, Come here for awhile" I said.

She came and stood in front of me.

I kneeled down same as her height.

"Hinata-chan, relax. You're strong too" I said.

I took a small bell pin attached on my kimono and pin it on her jacket.

"I'll borrow this to you. Its a lucky charm" I said.

She smiled slightly and nod.

"Arigato Mai-sensei" She said quietly.

I nod and pushed her.

"Go on, show your cousin that you're strong too" I said.

She went down.

"Lucky charm?" Kakashi ask.

"Yeah, its a bell made with chakra on the inside and the shell is pure crystal. Hashi gave it to me on my 20th birthday, along with Mito" I said.

"I see... What does it do?" He ask.

"Mah, you'll see soon... Maybe..." I said.

The fight starts.

Both Hyuuga use Jyuken against each other. But its obvious who's superior.

"When did the fight between the main clan and the branch started?" I ask the jounins by my side.

"Well.. About 10 years ago or so. Its not really a fight between the two clan. Its just that Neji's father sacrificed himself to protect Hinata's father and family... That results in Neji's anger..." Kurenai said.

I see.

But before, I've seen Neji's past, I knew his side of the story.

Neji hit Hinata at her heart. She coughed out blood.

"This is bad, He just hit a jyuken at her heart" I said.

"Hinata!!! Dont give up! Dont lose to that asshole!!" Naruto said.

Hinata got up back with his encouragement.

I'll just watch a little more.

They fought more, then he hit at he heart again.
