Third Person's POV

A sudden puff of smoke and Mai appeared in the middle of the room.

"Ara? Everyone's here?" Mai said.

All the jounins and some Chunins stood there, gapping at her. The third hokage sigh.

"Is there anything you need?" The third ask.

"Ah, Hiruzen, I need to speak with you. But since you're busy then later on. I went to your office and you weren't there" Mai said.

"Insolence!! Respect the Hokage!!" Ibiki suddenly shouted.

"Ah, Ibiki, stop, its okay... Well, you can come back later on, Mai-sama" The third Hokage said.

"Hm, well, then I'll be late. I promise Naruto, Sakura and Sasuke I'll bring them out for dinner. Ah, right, Kakashi, you'll be going out with them too" Mai said.

Everyone turn to him.

"Eh? Me too?" Kakashi point to himself.

"Of course, baka. Thats your team. Dont let me burn those books of yours" Mai scolded.

Kakashi laughed nervously.

"I-I'll be there...." He said.

"Good~ Then, Hokage-sama, I'll be going first. Good luck on the chunin preparations" Mai said and poof out.

Kakashi and the third sigh. Though Kakashi sigh in relief.

"I'm going to get a lecture from her later" The third said.

"She's scary sometimes" Kakashi mumbled.

Both of them sigh again.

The others notice this.

"So, who's the girl? She was there when the kids first became Genins too" Asuma ask.

"Well...she's Mai. A person all of you should respect. But of course, she'll lecture me again if you did that. She's in Kakashi's team as an assistant" The third said.

"heh...assistant huh..." Asuma gave a look at Kakashi.

Kakashi skillfully ignore him.

"She disrespect you, Hokage-sama" Ibiki pointed out.

"No, no, she's actually quite kind to call me that...Or she'll give me weird nickname like the first's" He said, whispered at the end.

"If she's a shinobi, then shouldn't she be here too?" Iruka ask.

"Well, she is a leaf shinobi. But, even I as Hokage cant control her. Thats just how important she is" The Third said.

Everyone gasp and murmur about Mai.

"Who is she?" Kurenai ask.

"Well, that is a confidential information. But I'm sure one day you'll find out" He said.

Mai's POV

I teleported to the Hokage's mountain. I still got a few more hours before I meet with the kids.

I sat by the edge of Hashi's head. Just like I always do before and observe the village.

I'm glad even after all this years, even if there's still some heartbreaking events...

But I'm glad that the village stayed strong. I needed more information onto what happened to the village, Naruto's Parents, The Uchiha's, everything...
