Chapter 42 - To The War

Third Person's POV

Mai sat down on the same spot for a long time, She stare at the village. The scenery from before and now is totally different. But yet, it's still the same village they have built years... and years ago...

"Mai" She heard Hashirama call her.

She turn around and saw everyone coming up.

"Ah, you're all done? I felt both of your chakra spike up just now. Had a fight?" Mai said to Tobirama and Hashirama.

"it's suffocating!!" Suigetsu cried.

Mai smiled slightly. She turn to Sasuke.

"Sasuke... Have you decided?" Mai ask.

Sasuke nod.

"I'm going to stop the war" He said.

Mai nod.

"Let's go. Right now, I can barely feel the kages chakra. They were fighting against Madara previously. They must have lost somehow. I can feel his chakra towards where the main battle is" Mai said.

"Who's fighting against him? There's no one else that can hold him back if it's not the kages" Tobirama said.

Mai shook her head.

"There is one. His name is Uzumaki Naruto. He's fighting alongside with the eight tail Jinchuriki, Bee, Kakashi and Gai. They're strong enough to at least hold Madara back" Mai said.

"You know them, Mai-san?" Minato said.

Mai smiled at the man.

"Naruto's my student, alongside with Sasuke here and another kunoichi named Sakura, they were a team. Kakashi's the team's sensei. And I was once Kakashi's mission. Which is to be my bodyguard, eventually, I join the team as well" Mai said, smiling.

"I see. That's very nice to hear about" Minato said, smiling.

"This Uzumaki Naruto, are you both related?" Hashirama asked Minato.

"Uzumaki Naruto is the Kyuubi's jinchuriki, Minato's son. Previously, it was Uzumaki Kushina, Minato's wife. Mito was the first Kyuubi's Jinchuriki, so it passes down to Kushina and Naruto" Mai explained.

"I see..." Hashirama said.

Mai nod.

"Come on. Let's go... We have to stop all this... we have to. Before everything gets worst" Mai said.

"Mai--"

"Hashirama... Its time we put an end to all of this... we have to. For the sake of all our fellow shinobi. All that we build for... our dreams... I'm not about to let everything end" Mai said, cutting him off.

Looking at her for a moment, he closed his eyes.

"Yeah" He answered.

Meanwhile Karin suddenly appeared and act as crazy as expected.

She was caught by Sakura, Kiba, Lee and Sai when she was on the way finding for Naruto during the Kage's summit.

(A/N: okay Honestly I totally forgot about Sakura during that chapter. So I guess I'm changing it to this😅)

"Itachi. You're following as well right?" Mai ask.

"Of course" Itachi nod.

"Good. Now let's go guys" Mai said.

"I will be heading to the kages site. I can heal Tsunade and the rest" Orochimaru said.

Mai look at him.
