Chapter 8 - Sunagakure arrived

Third Person's POV

"So, let me sum this up, the C-ranked mission I gave you became an A-ranked mission. You met Zabuza Momochi, one of the seven swordsman and you save the Land of Wave" The third Hokage said.

"Yup!" Mai said happily.

He sigh.

"Then, Kakashi, you didn't say anything?" The third ask.

"W-Well, its not that I didn't say anything, its just that...well, she really wanted to continue the mission...aha..ha..haha..." Kakashi laughed nervously.

The third sigh yet another time.

"I see... Mai-sama, please be careful, especially when you're outside of the village" The third said, rubbing his temple.

"Mah, mah Hiruzen, you're too worried. Kakashi's with me, so you dont have to get so much of headache. You'll die from heart attack you know" Mai said, smiling happily.

"That seems a bit impossible to do with you around....though... I suppose at least the mission is a success" He said.

"Yeah, Well I provided the Land of wave with some money to repair and restore, it should be more than enough" Mai said.

"Mai-sama, you're using your fortune carelessly..." Third said.

"Dont worry! There's still like a tower of those fortune left by Hashi for me, might as well use it to help people!" Mai said.

"I get it, I get it... I suppose you both are dismissed. Take some rest" He said.

As they head to the door, finishing their report, they start a convo.

"Okay! Kakashi, treat me to some dango" Mai held his arm.

"Eh? But you just said that you got a fortune, why dont you use that money?" Kakashi joked.

'hm? Something seems different with this two...since when did they grow so close like that? Dont tell me...hahaha...she is technically still the same age as Kakashi...' The third thought, watching them tease each other and went out the room, amused.

Few days passed and team 7 went back to doing the same D-ranked missions.

Though Sasuke and Naruto seems to be abit off. Naruto tried to show off every second in every mission. Obviously towards Sasuke.

"What is wrong with the both of you?" Mai ask.

"The teamwork's getting worse" Kakashi sigh.

"That's right! Its because Sasuke always show off!! Believe it!!" Naruto said.

"Baka, Naruto! Dont talk to Sasuke-kun like that!!" Sakura punched Naruto head.

"Hn, if you dont want to be shunned down then get stronger, idiot" Sasuke said.

"Teme!!"

"Hai, Hai, Thats enough. Both of you. Today's mission's over. Why dont you guys go and take a rest" Mai said.

"I have no idea what happen to this two" Kakashi said.

"Why dont you go first? You need to right?" Mai said, looking at the bird flying around them.

"Yeah, thanks...I'll be going first" Kakashi poof away.

Sasuke start to walk away.

"Ne, Sasuke-kun, lets go train somewhere, you know to improve our teamwork" Sakura said.

"Hn, you should go train too. You're weak, get the fact that you're even weaker than Naruto" Sasuke said and went.

Sakura became depress.
