Chapter 30 - Destruction

Third Person's POV

It has been a few days since the team has brought back Itachi. Both Itachi and Mai is still asleep in the hospital, no sign of waking up at all.

When Kakashi reported this to Tsunade and the third Hokage, Tsunade immediately wanted to put him to prison if it's not because he was unconscious.

While the Third Hokage said to heal him and made sure he's not harmed at all by anyone at all. That was before Kakashi could tell the Third what Mai said to him.

He was given the mission to protect Itachi at all cost.

The elders and Danzo immediately heard the news and said to Tsunade to immediately prosecute him for his crime.

But both Tsunade and The Third Hokage stayed strong and made sure Itachi's alright.

For now everything has gone peaceful. Everyone is just waiting for both of them to wake up first. Then... the real deal starts.

"Tsunade-sama!!!"

Shizune barged in to her room.

"What is it Shizune?" Tsunade said, a bit annoyed.

"J-Jiraiya-sama!! He- He's badly injured!!" Shizune said.

Tsunade abruptly stood up.

"Let's go! Quick!" Tsunade said.

Both Shizune and her ran to the hospital. They immediately start the operation to make sure he survived.

Meanwhile outside of the building, Sakura heard the news.

She ran to Naruto's home and knock on his door continuously.

The door opened. But before Naruto get to say anything, Sakura already yelled at him.

"What took you so long?!!" She yelled.

"Sakura-chan~ come on, I was sleeping dattebayo" Naruto said.

"Jiraiya-sama came back! But he's seriously injured that even Tsunade-sama has to perform the surgery!" Sakura said.

Naruto's eyes widen.

"Hold on a bit" He said.

He went in and a few minutes later he came out, dressed properly. They both ran to the hospital.

In front of the operation room, they saw Kakashi and the third Hokage waiting as well.

"Any news?!" Naruto ask.

"Not yet... she's still operating him" Kakashi said.

"What the hell happened?!" Naruto ask.

"Not too sure. Last I heard, he was going to spy at the Akatsuki's  headquarters. At Amegakure" Third Hokage said.

The door opened.

Tsunade and Shizune came out.

"Well how is he?!" Naruto ask.

"Calm down, idiot. He's fine. But he won't be waking up anytime soon. I swear, if he come back anytime later, he would be dead" Tsunade said, sighing in relief.

"That's good to hear" The third Hokage said.

"One thing strange... there's fragment of your chakra, Naruto" Tsunade said.

"Mine?" He ask, confused.

"But how is that possible? He should be on his own mission when we were on the Uchiha retrieval mission. So there's no way Naruto would be with him" Kakashi said.

"Thats what I'm confuse about" Tsunade said.

"Te o kasu..."

All head turn to Sakura.

"Remember that time when Mai-sensei ask for Naruto's chakra? She used the chakra for a jutsu but we still didn't know what is that jutsu right?" Sakura said.

"Yeah That's true" Kakashi said.

"What are you talking about?" Tsunade ask.

"During the mission, when we encounter the other Akatsuki member, Mai went on ahead. She was the one who saved Itachi from death. We reach there later on after those Akatsuki members went off. She gave me those orders I told you before and lastly, she borrowed Naruto's chakra to perform  some kind of jutsu. She must have performed that one Suzuki forbidden jutsu that she told me about. It's like Bright light shot from them to the sky. Then nothing else happened" Kakashi said.

"But Mai-sensei said that I would be grateful for doing that" Naruto said.

Kakashi nod.

"Sensei, what was the jutsu you told abou? The Suzuki forbidden jutsu" Sakura ask.

"As far as I'm told, Suzuki clan or rather Mai develop it herself, there's 2 forbidden jutsu that connects with her clan's specialty. One was going back to the past. Or reversing something. And another one is a future sight. But I wasn't given any other detail. Even the names of it" Kakashi said.

"Hmm, that's true. That's as far as what she have told me as well. After all she said technique such as this are rather not be told by others in detail" The Third Hokage said.

Tsunade sigh.

"Yeah, after all this are not just any kind of jutsu, they're forbidden. They messes with time and space. If the knowledge were to fall into someone with bad intention, it could go very wrong. Anyways, we can't answer all this question unless she wakes up. So we will leave it for now. Meanwhile, Jiraiya got us some information. But he did it in a code. So we have to break the code" Tsunade said.

"Right" Everyone agreed.

It was hard for them to break the code... But finally they manage to do it. The secret is hidden inside of Jiraiya's book.

It was not long that they found out that the Akatsuki will be finding for Naruto. And so, he set of to train... and gain new powers.

But even so... while Naruto was gone, disaster struck...

The leader of the Akatsuki, Pein came and attack Konoha himself... 

Tsunade manage to protect the Hospital... but then

The whole village was destroyed, killing many... many people.

Tsunade ordered one of the shinobi to being back Naruto from training... since its the one and only option they have to save what remains from the village.

Even so, that shinobi was killed by one of Danzo's minion. Preventing the message to be delivered to Naruto.

The Third Hokage was one of the steongest one currently who are able to defend against Pein. But he was ambushed, killed by all of the Pein.

One man could only take a handful of enemies to defeat after all.

Kakashi and most of the jounins fought and there was nothing that they could do. Pein was too strong, combined together with all of his others.

Tsunade couldn't protect the village anymore. She was too weak from exhaustion, lack of chakra for trying to save everyone.

Konoha is falling.

But finally, the person the enemy wants most finally arrived.
