Chapter 36 - The Kage Summit

Mai's POV

The Kage summit...

Hashirama once desired to unite the five village. But it didn't end up quite well.

Now... once again the five Kage summit will commence once again. I have to find out who that guy... the masked man really is.

And also to bring Sasuke back to the village and clear the Uchiha's name.

I smile sadly.

'Hashirama.... you may be true... Uchiha Clan still really do hold true to my heart. Konoha was the birth from 3 of us. I must never fail to protect the village we all build...'

"Itachi, how is it? Can you sense Kakashi or Naruto?" I ask him.

The three of us stood on the roof of a house to first search them.

"Not yet..." He answered.

"Maybe he's not here?" Jiraiya said.

"Hm... maybe. If its like this. I'm afraid we're gonna miss the Kage summit" Mai said.

"Why dont you two go ahead? I'll stay and find them all" Jiraiya said.

I look at him.

"You sure?" I said.

He nod.

"Okay. Be careful" I said and both of us went ahead towards the Kage summit.

Third Person's POV

"Just because the beast has been stolen, it's not a reason to be afraid, it takes time, skills and knowledge to control them" Mizukage said.

"The hosts must grow with the beasts in order to adapt them. Even then, control is difficult. It wont happen immediately, right Kazekage?" Tsuchikage said.

The kazekage kept his usual composure and stay silent.

"In any event, the only one who can truly be said to control the beasts are Uchiha Madara, and the 1st Hokage, Hashirama and maybe the fourth Mizukage Yagura and Raikage's brother, Killer Bee" Danzo said.

"But..." Danzo continued.

Immediately everyone went alert and each kage's guardian went and guard in front of their kage.

"Quit your yapping!!!" Raikage shouted, destroying the table in front of him.

"Konoha! Iwa! Suna! Kiri! Akatsuki is made up of missing nin from your village! And that's not all!! I know that there are those among you and even the former Kages have used Akatsuki for your own benefit!!" The Raikage state.

"Used Akatsuki?" Gaara said, slightly surprised.

"I don't trust you! I have no intention of speaking with all of you! I called all of you here to find where your true loyalties lie!!" The Raikage said.

"Wait! What do you mean 'used Akatsuki'?!" Gaara asked.

"Akatsuki are professionals. And they could be hired for relatively little payment and always have good result" The Tsuchikage said.
