Chapter 33 - Finally the Confrontation

Third Person's POV

"Ne.... Ita-nii, how did you do it?" Rin ask, holding a paper crane in her hand.

"Do you want me to teach you?" Itachi ask, smiling gently at her.

Rin brighten up and smile widely.

"Yea! Yea! Teach Rin!" She said excitedly.

Kakashi who's sitting on the chair beside the bed chuckled slightly.

"Rin, don't be too noisy, we're in the hospital" Kakashi said.

She pouted.

"Hai~~"

Mai came in the room along with Konohamaru and his friends.

"Rin-chan! Time to play!" Moegi said.

"Yada! Rin wanna stay with Ita-nii" Rin said.

Mai chuckled.

"Yare, yare... must have been noisy for you hm, itachi?" Mai said.

"Its okay actually... Rin's a little girl after all" Itachi said.

Mai chuckled.

"Hah.... but its not okay for me... I can't even read peacefully" Kakashi said.

"Kakashi! You're not even supposed to read that book in front of Rin!" Mai hit him behind his head.

Rin and the other kids laughed.

After the Pein incident, Mai and Kakashi rushed to the hospital to see Rin.

When they reach there, they saw Rin in Itachi's arm, both of them asleep.

It was a relief that everyone survived. The only problem is that Tsunade went into a coma for saving all of the people in the hospital and fighting Pein.

The village is recovering slowly.

For now everything was peaceful...

Until...

Anbus surround the building and as well as the room, blocking any ways out.

"Chotto... what do you think you're doing?" Mai said.

Rin hugged Itachi, feeling scared.

Danzo and the 2 elder came in through the door.

"Hm, now that Tsunade is gone, we can settle this thing much easier" Danzo said.

Mai sigh.

"Don't go making decision that Tsuna's dead, Danzo..." Mai glared.

"Hm, she might as well be dead. Her decision has made Konoha in such a vulnerable state" Homura said.

Mai glared at them all.

"So, whats the reason for surrounding us like this? You're scaring the kids here" she said.

"Hm, you know why we came here. It's to talk about Uchiha Itachi's presence in the village" Koharu said.

"Hm, is this how you all handle things here then? I can see why Hiruzen does not want you all to take over the village" Mai said.

Mai turn to Kakashi.

"Kakashi, take the kids out. And call in Naruto, Sakura, Shikamaru and some of the other Jonins" Mai ordered.

Kakashi nod.

Kakashi brought the kids with him to the front door but was blocked by the anbus.

"Let them go now" Mai kept her glare on and towards the anbus keeping guard.
