Chapter 19 - SERIOUSLY?!!

MAI'S POV

Naruto will be going in a few more days. Sakura has been training with Tsunade. Sasuke went off to Orochimaru. Once in a while, I will be the one helping Sakura train. She's currently learning healing jutsu and as well as chakra enforce strength.

The village return peaceful again. Naruto has been clearly working very hard. Training and doing missions. As well as Sakura. I wonder how is Sasuke... is he eating well, is he pushing himself too hard... the boys are like my own son. I can't help but get worry.

"Thinking about Sasuke again?"

I turn around from my usual spot at the Hokage's mountain and saw Kakashi.

"ah, you're done with your mission?" I ask, smiling at him.

"yeah, fortunately it was an easy one" Kakashi said.

I nod.

"the village finally stabilize now... it's in peace for now" he said.

"yeah, I guess" I said.

"don't worry... knowing him, he won't die easily... that Sasuke" Kakashi said.

"Yeah, thank you, Kakashi. Sorry for worrying you" I said.

"no worries. Come on, you've been here all day right?" Kakashi said.

"yeah, I was watching the village" I said.

I took his hand and we walk down.

I suddenly feel queasy, I close my mouth and kneel down, trying not to vomit.

"Mai! Are you okay?" Kakashi ask.

"Yeah, just a little dizzy" I said.

"that's the third time this week... shouldn't you go see the doctor or something?" Kakashi ask, worry written all over his face.

"I'm fine, Kakashi. Nothing to worry about" I said.

"But---"

"No buts, come on, let's go for some tea break" I said, smiling.

He sighs and just nod.

We both talk at the Dango shop and after about an hour or so, someone appeared in front of us.

Kakashi sigh.

"Another mission?" Kakashi ask.

"Hai, Lady Tsunade request you immediately" He said.

"Alright, thanks" Kakashi said and the man teleport away.

He sighs, looking at me.

I smile sympathetically at him.

"well, it is a time of crisis in our village. Since we're short of ninjas, even the Genins had to do higher rank mission. You have to bear with it ne? our village's recovering slowly" I said.

"Yeah, I know. Anyways, I'll be going first then" He said.

I nod.

He went and payed for our tea.

"okay, love you" Kakashi said.

"love you too" I said, smiling.

He then went off to the Hokage's room.

'I suppose, even Tsunade is having a hard time' I thought.

"Well, I suppose I should visit Hiruzen" I said.
