Chapter 5 - Sharing

Mai's POV

I groan. My whole body's aching. I open my eyes and I'm in a house...

"Ara, Sensei, you're awake"

I turn to see who is it, its a woman.

"Sorry...Who are you?" I ask.

"My name is Tsunami. You helped protect my father, Tazuna" She said.

"I see. Thanks..." I sit up slowly. Then I realise something.

"What happen to my kimono?" I ask.

"Well, the kimono got dirty, so I wash it. Meanwhile, you can wear that yukata" She said.

I nod.

"Where are they?" I ask.

"Ah, Kakashi-sensei and the kids are training in the woods" She said.

"Thanks so much, Tsunami" I said.

I stood up and went to the woods. I sense their chakra and follow it. I reach to a clearing.

"Oh? Climbing trees?" I said.

"Mai-Sensei!!!" Naruto shouted happily.

"Dope! Dont shout! you're distracting me!" Sasuke yelled back.

"Shut up, Sasuke!" Naruto showed his tongue.

"hai, hai...Stop this. Continue your training" Kakashi said, approaching me.

"How are you feeling?" He ask.

"Just a little weak... But I'll be alright" I said.

Kakashi sigh.

"You know, I'm the one who's suppose to protect you..." He said.

"And I have to protect citizens of Konoha as well...That includes you. So we protect each other" I said.

"I guess so..." He sigh again.

"Anyways I'm sitting here, watching them train" I said.

"Okay. Just dont move so much" He said.

"No promise" I said, smiling.

He sigh, yet another time.

I giggled.

Kakashi's POV

I look down from my place where I sat, on the tree... Both Sasuke and Naruto's still training. Though not much of improvement. Sakura's chakra are not as much as the boys, so it'll be easier for chakra control.

But for those two, it'll be harder with that amount of chakra. Not to mention Naruto and the nine tail.

The day is almost to its end. Its getting dark.

"Okay, training's done for today! We're going back, its getting dark" I said.

"Ehhh...I wanna train more!" Naruto whine.

"hn, thats right" Sasuke agrees.

"Then you can train, but no food for you two" I said.

The two look at each other, I can hear their stomach growling from up here.

I chuckled.

They immediately went back home. Sakura following behind them.

"Mai lets--Eh?"

I look around she isn't anywhere to be seen.

"Oh, no...."

I jump down and try to find her. I sense her not far ahead and I follow the direction. I reach to a clearing. Mai is sitting down looking up towards the sky, leaning against a tree.
