GFC Sixty Five..

Lia's Point of View..

I thought Ryujin cutting ties with the corporation would be the end of our problems. I thought after all of that, we'll finally be together. Happy. With Zephora. I would be able to fulfill Zeph's wish to go to Disneyland with Ryujin. And I would be able to tell her I love her after waking up and before going to sleep.

But NO.

Destiny really has to play with my heart every now and then. As if the tears I have shed before weren't enough, now I have to shed more.

"Babe.." Yuna carefully said obviously nervous after I dragged her away from Ryujin's living room. "You're scaring me. What's wrong?" Yuna crossed her arms as she worriedly looked into my eyes. Probably giving away my frustrations. And even if I try, it would be useless. Yuna is my best friend and she knows me like the back of her hand.

"I.. I received a phone call. From my mom.." I swallowed the lump in my throat remembering her words. I tightly shut my eyes suppressing my tears from streaming down my face. I hate this.

I fucking hate this.

"Babe.. you gotta talk to Ryeong about this. I don't want your life to be dragged into mine." I managed to let out before a sob. Yuna raised an eyebrow and took a step forward before putting her hands on my shoulders affectionately.

"Whatever it is, I'll understand, Unnie. You gotta tell me especially when it looks like it somehow involves me. I'm here, okay?" She bent down a little to level her face on to mine and smiled sweetly. Her usual childish smile that I always liked. It was the type of smile that I couldn't help but reciprocate. But today's not the same case.

I couldn't bring myself to give back the same smile to her. Not after knowing what is about to unfold between us.

Why does it have to be with her? Why does it have to be my own little sister?

Flashback

I tucked Zephora in her bed as I smiled at her peaceful face. I can't wait to graduate and actually bring her to those huge mascots that parades all day. I giggled at the thought causing for her to steer a little bit. She slowly opened her sleepy eyes as I scooted closer to comfort her.

"Go ahead sleep. Unnie will stay here until then." I said as I brought my hand to her hair lovingly. Her eyes is a replica of Ryujins.. I couldn't help but smile at the thought.

"Unnie, you look a little bit scary with that smile on your face." Zephora said with cutesy little giggles. I stopped on my tracks and eventually joined her giggles.

"I just remembered how your eyes look exactly like your Mommy Ryujin." I said as I sat down on the side of her bed. Bending down on the process to kiss her cheek. She's really cute and I hate it. I'm a sucker for those whiskers of hers. And Ryujin's whiskers as well.

"Of course I would look like her, Unnie. She's my mommy." She giggled sleepily once again. I'm surprised she still can have a normal conversation despite being an inch away from dozing off again.

But I just offered a small smile on her statement. Should she really know about Heejin?

"Right." I answered swiftly as I watched her doze off once again. I slowly got up and re-arranged her crumpled blanket to put over her little body. I sighed at the sight of her again before carefully walking out of her room.
