Katsuki was quick to embrace Izuku when they returned and checked him for injuries before they headed to their room.
The rest of the night was a spoil night as Izuku let Katsuki tend to him and assure him everything was fine. They even came up with a story to sell.
"Was it fun?" Katsuki whispered as they were starting to doze.
"The best, Kacchan. It felt so nice not to worry about what anyone thought," Izuku responded as he snuggled closer and started to fall asleep.
"My turn next time," Katsuki grunted as he held him close.

By morning, the news of the attacks had spread. One kid homeless, one kid lost his mother and injured, and a third vanished with no trace. People talked about a trio of villains that were terrifying.
The injured boy swore to the news that it was his classmate Izuku Midoriya that led the villain trio. Police waited at the school for the boys to arrive.
Izuku walked as close to Katsuki as he could, eyes down and looking as scared of the building as he had been yesterday. Reports snapped pictures of those green eyes welling up with tears.
The boys were taken to the office and separated, to which Izuku started crying for his Kacchan. He shook as the officers questioned him. His answers were short and littered with pleas for his dad or Kacchan.
By the end, Katsuki was back beside him, holding him close. They sat in the office, Izuku having to turn his face into his boyfriend's chest to keep from letting his "fear" slip away into the glee as seeing the other students shooting wary glances in the windows at them.
Soon, their "dad" was at the school. His worry sounded almost real as he checked on them, threw a small fit at the fact they were interrogated without him, and swore at the officers as he verified their story that they had been home all night with Izuku getting treated for the injuries another student had given him.
The police apologized and tried to explain what the other boy said. Izuku took his chance and broke out in sobs.
"Why me?" He sobbed loudly. All eyes turned to him. "Is it cause I said I wanna be a hero? Is it cause I don't have a flashy quirk? Why does he keep trying to blame me for stuff?"
Tsukauchi had arrived and knelt before the crying boy. "Izuku, remember me?"
The boy sniffled and nodded, leaning into Katsuki.
"Good," Tsukauchi smiled. "What do you mean he is trying to blame you?"
Izuku whimpered and looked at Katsuki, who nodded. "Yesterday... when they attacked me... he said I tried to take the teacher's wallet."
Tsukauchi frowned. "Did you?"
Izuku shook his head. "No! I was trying to leave when they started hitting me. It hurt really bad, and I just wanted to go."
"I found them trying to push him out the window," Katsuki added.
The young officer frowned, then stood. He whipped around to face the other adults in the room. "These boys are telling the truth! Didn't you try to report this poor kid for theft?"
The principal hesitated, shifting from foot to foot. "Yes, but the boys who reported it are fine, upstanding young men. They were going -"
"Don't you fucking say heroes!" Katsuki spat. "There is no way in hell they should be heroes if they do this to someone weaker than them!"
A few of the officers muttered an agreement, glancing at the reporting kid who looked outright confused.
"Kacchan, language," Izuku muttered.
"Did you lie about the wallet?" The principal asked.
"No. He tried to take it," the kid cried.
"Lie," Tsukauchi said calmly.
The principal flinched and hesitated. "W-what about last night? You said it was Izuku who attacked you?"
"Yeah! He had a red eye from his quirk!" The kid cried.
Tsukauchi frowned. "My quirk says he's telling the truth. Izuku, can you activate your quirk?"
Izuku blinked but activated Tracker. His eyes were a brighter green, but not red. "I was at home...with Kacchan."
"Izuku is being truthful too," Tsukauchi announced. "And his eyes aren't red at all. Maybe you saw someone who looked similar?"
"No! It was him! I know it!" The kid screeched. "He's a villain! He is going to kill us all!"
The officer in charge looked to Tsukauchi sighed.
"Sometimes when someone is exceptionally convinced of something, it comes off as true," Tsukauchi explained. "He truly believes this kid is a villain. Based on what I've seen, the opposite is true. Izuku is a quiet kid who seems outright terrified of this one."
Izuku leaned into Katsuki again as the officers spoke, and eventually, the principal handed Izuku a paper.
"You're going to be in Katsuki's class from now on," he grunted. "And no punishment for yesterday. "
"About fucking time," Katsuki grunted.
Izuku gave a grateful smile, still huddled into Katsuki's arms. They watched the adults all turn their attention back to the original reporter to admonish him for lying.
The boy scowled at the pair as the adults spoke. Katsuki smirked, raising a hand to flip him off. Izuku, still in his arms, gave the same dark smirk as his boyfriend before slowly raising a finger to his lips.
The boy paled and pointed at them. Tsukauchi looked back to see two boys focused on each other - Katsuki running his fingers through Izuku's hair while the other boy sniffled quietly.
Tsukauchi sighed and shook his head as he turned. "Hey boys, why don't we walk down to make sure your teacher knows about the change?"
The duo nodded, rising and following Tsukauchi out, giving a fleeting smirk at their enemy as they walked away. It was pure heaven to listen to him wail about how he was telling the truth. The office door shut out the walls and the boys followed the young officer down the hallway.
