"Just...wait..." Katsuki breathed, his voice getting softer.

The dust slowly started to settle and reveal the aftermath. It was gruesome and sent a chill down the spines of those surrounding Katsuki.

Katsuki just smirked. "That's...my nerd..."

Shigaraki lay dead; his head nearly severed. Izuku had collapsed close by, completely unconscious. Hitoshi, once Aizawa nodded, rushed to his brother's side and paled.

"We need help now!" Hitoshi screamed. "He's not breathing!"

Aizawa started to jerk up when Katsuki caught his wrist. "Katsuki I need to-"

"Ask...'em to bring...Eri," Katsuki smiled weakly. "to say...goodbye."

"No, Bakubro," Kirishima sniffled. "We'll save you guys."

The blond smirked. "We...went into this...knowing...we'd die. Eri...deserves...to say goodbye..."

"Kirishima...go," Aizawa said as he lowered his head. "Send Dabi if he feels up to it. I'd rather her not see that foul thing Izuku killed."

The red head looked sick, but nodded. He eased Katsuki back to the ground. "You hang in there, Bakubro. I'm gonna go get Eri."

The blond smiled and watched him leave. "Don't...move...Izu...but...I'd...like to be...with him..."

Aizawa swallowed and nodded. "Hitoshi," he paused to wait for his other son to look up. "Don't move your brother. Help me move Katsuki to him, okay?"

Hitoshi roughly wiped the tears away and came over to help his day lift Katsuki's bigger body. They got the blond up into their arms and worked together to carry him to Izuku's side. It took some doing, but they got him on the ground next to his boyfriend.

The blond smiled at his lover.

"Hey, nerd," he whispered, reaching up to brush a hand across the freckled cheek. "Hang on. Eri's coming...got to...let her say...bye."

Hitoshi clenched his jaw so hard he was sure he was going to break something, but he refused to cry over his brothers' sacrifice. Beside him, Aizawa could see the decay that was still creeping across his youngest son's throat and swallowed the urge to vomit. He could also hear, now that he was closer, that Izuku what faintly breathing but it was shallow and too slow. He could see Katsuki's breathing also slowing down.

Aizawa didn't flinch when Hitoshi stood and moved over to the body of their enemy. He only smiled when Katsuki barked out a breathy laugh as Hitoshi screamed in rage and kicked the body as hard as he could. It rolled a few times away from the boys.

"He's already dead, idiot," Dabi grunted as he arrived with Kirishima at his side. "Besides, I'm going to show him what turning someone to ash really is."

Aizawa looked up from where he knelt beside his boys. "Eri?"

"That dominatrix lady and Recovery Girl are bringing her," Dabi answered as he walked towards the body. "They wanted me to get here first so I can get rid of this piece of shit. She doesn't need to see this filth. And clean those two up as much as you can, but don't move the nerd."

"But..." Kirishima frowned as Aizawa started to cut away a piece of his capture weapon.

"It's because of how he fell," Aizawa explained grimly as he gently wiped Katuski's face. The blond had passed out, on hand clutching Izuku's. "The decay destroyed his throat...but how he fell he still has a bit of an airway. If we move him, it could collapse."

The air got hot as Dabi cremated the remains of Shigaraki until there was literally nothing left of the cruel, insane man. Hitoshi had stood beside him the entire time.
