I widen my eyes as I stare her up and down, "You're fucking what?" I ask in disbelief. She walks back to the door and peaks out before pulling herself back in and shutting the door quietly and locking it. I sit on my bed as I wait for some sort of explanation.

"Quiet down. I'm not supposed to be in here or even talking to you." She says before sitting on the end of my bed. "I'm one of your dads wives." She repeats again as if I hadn't heard her the first time.

"One of them? There's more?" I ask quietly as I move closer to her to hear better, she nods her head. "Why would you be with my dad if you knew he had other wives. That's weird as hell." I say shaking my head in disbelief.

"It's not like I want to be." She mumbles as she stares up at me, she looked like she was just a few years older than me. Too young to be with my father. "It was either this or hard labor. Honestly I rather live in luxury than dog shit." She quietly laughs.

I open my mouth slightly, disgusted by my dads actions. He was worse than I could ever imagine. "The more I find out, the more I hate him." I mumble to myself. She sighs and starts to speak again before a knock is heard on my door.

She quickly gets up with eyes wide with fear, I stand up as well and grab her hand pulling her to the closet. "Go in there." I whisper as she moves to the right side as far as she could. I quickly shut the door and grab a random comic off the ground and open it.

I make my way over and unlock the door before opening it. Simon stood there his arm raised onto the frame before he looks at me. "What the hell do you want? Can't you see I am busy?" I say waving my comic around in his face.

He lifts his finger up and slowly pushes the book back down to where he could see me. "Is there someone else in here?" He questions as he pushes past me, I scoff in annoyance.

"No. Get the hell out of my room you perv." I say crossing my arms across my chest and slightly bending my knee to pop my hip out. He stands with his hands lazily hung on his hips as he looks around the room.

"I could've sworn I heard you talking to someone." He says before finally turning to face me, a suspicious look growing on his face. I toss my comic onto the bed before walking behind him and pushing him towards the door.

"I was reading the comic out loud. Now leave." I say finally pushing him slightly out of my room. He starts to say something but I cut him off, "If you don't leave I'll tell my dad you barged in on me without knocking." I say smiling.

His face falls quickly and he sighs before waving his hand in my face and making his way back down the hall. I pop my head out and watch as he begins to disappear as he heads down the steps.

I shut my door back with a slam so he thought I was still upset. I quickly lock it and run over to the closet door and opening it. "He's gone." I whisper, she peaks her head out and smiles slightly before walking out completely.

"Thank you. I was hoping you weren't like your father." She says with a small giggle following behind. I laugh quietly along with her before walking back to my bed and sitting on it. "I should go. They'll be looking for me soon." She says before walking over to the door.

"Wait." I order before walking to the door and pushing her behind me. "I'll keep an eye out for you." I say as I unlock the door and step out making my way to the top of the steps at the end of the hallway.

I lean over the railing and watch the men walking down below me. I give her a thumbs up and watch as she runs back to another room, I notice my dad walking below me as well the bat slung over his shoulders as always.

He looks up and waves at me before motioning me to come down. I groan and lean off the railing before making my way down the stairs as slowly as I could manage. He sighs and shakes his head, "Can you at least hurry?"

I sigh slightly before making my feet move faster till I reach the bottom. A bunch of men were huddle around my dad making a circle, I walk through the open gap in the circle and stand beside my dad.

I felt uneasy from the gaze of all the men, suddenly feeling to expose. I feel as dad slings his arm around my shoulders and pulls me close to his side with a huge smile plastered on his face. "This is my daughter. Since she's here I'm going to be making a few more rules." He pauses as he lets go of my and slings his bat off his shoulder.

"Whatever she wants, you guys will provide for her. You all will be keeping watch on her too, just incase she tries to do something she'll regret later." He pauses once more as he glares down at me before looking back up, "She is not allowed to be around our prisoner under any circumstances, if you catch her report it to me. You guys will protect her, doesn't matter if it costs you your lives. Do not bother her unless I send you to retrieve her. Do we understand?" He asks.

All the men nod their head their eyes now on my father instead of me. He smiles and claps his hands together proudly, "Good!" He says cheerfully, "Back to work fellas we are going to be having a lot of shipments this week. Get prepared." I watch as all the men go in their own directions.

I turn on my heel and start to head towards the steps before his voice booms out again. "Not so fast. Come back here. I have a question to ask you." I freeze in my tracks as my heart starts to pump blood faster. I gulp and slowly turn around trying to hide the look of fear on my face.

I take a few steps towards him still having my arms crossed, he leans down slightly so he is eye to eye with me. A crooked smile playing on his lips as he breathes out in my face, I turn my head slightly away not wanting to smell his breath.

"What?" I ask annoyed as I take a step back away from him. He swings his bat around a few times in circles before standing back up straight and leaning against a pole that was beside him.

"So you know about my wives? Which one was you hiding in your room?"
